9 Dec 2020 · 2 min

Today I'm going to give you a silver bullet that can really help propel your success. One thing above all others, which if.
You enact, which if you appreciate, will set you apart from all of the rest.
Hi, my name is Eric Partaker, author and peak performance expert. And a couple of years ago I was speaking at a conference. And after I spoke at the conference, an aspiring entrepreneur came up to me.
And he said, eric, what's the one book that you'd recommend that I read?
And I paused for a moment and he was standing there with a couple of his friends. And I thought about it for a.
Second and then I said, do you know what your problem is? Do you know what's going to hold you back for the rest of your life?
Is that you're searching for a silver bullet.
You're searching for that one thing, that.
One book, and there is no one book. I said, instead, you gotta be scheduling.
In 30 minutes every day to develop a reading habit. 30 minutes every day to continually pour.
Through the things that interest you.
Knowledge compounds.
And so you have to develop that habit to let it start grow, to let it start growing, to let it compound. It's discipline. I said, that is your silver bullet. It's a discipline to do what others.
Don'T want to do when they're just messing around.
It's a discipline to stay the course when it's easier just to stop. There is no one book.
It's the discipline of reading day in.
And day out over a long period.
Of time that will get you the.
Results that you seek. So my message to you today is where would your life or business benefit.
From, from a bit more discipline?
Where are you super undisciplined?
And where could you make a commitment.
To show up more strongly, more powerfully day after day in a disciplined way? Because it's the discipline over time that will create all the freedom you desire. Creative freedom, freedom, financial freedom, freedom with your family, freedom for yourself. It comes through discipline. It comes through doing what others don't want to do. It comes from consistently applying yourself day after day. Discipline. That is your silver bullet.
So I hope you've enjoyed that. And if you head over to my website@ericpartaker.com you can also subscribe to my weekly Peak Performance Insights newsletter.
