Someone told the speaker they were destined for their current career. The speaker said they'd choose dietitian instead if starting over, a field they'd always loved outside work. The realization: that interest was always there, but they weren't open to seeing other paths.

And he was like, this is. You were meant to do this. Like there is nothing else that you would do. And I was like, well, actually, if I had to do it all over again, I would have become a dietitian. He was like, really? I was like, yes. And then he paused and said, I could see that. Just because that was what I was interested in outside of work. So it was always within me. I just wasn't open to seeing the possibilities of how the path could look.
