Argu built an AI operating system that runs on physical cameras to analyze video in real time. The startup, backed by a16z, is asking whether every camera could become an autonomous reasoning agent that makes decisions on the spot.
You are building one of the fastest growing companies in the vision AI world. Your company is a real time AI operating system that connects to physical cameras and real time video analytics.
Cameras.
Are everywhere. Are we heading toward a world where every camera becomes a real time reasoning AI agent?
Definitely yes. Cameras are powerful tools that are currently just being underutilized. Think about how little we knew about what we can do with a computer when it was first invented. Even though we already had the basics, the programming language, we already could program things. Even though it wasn't that powerful we could already having the knowledge we have today create programs that do 10 times more than what they did back then. This is where we are at with cameras. They are there monitoring, collecting data but still less than 1% of their potential is currently being tapped into and this data just sits out there waiting for somebody to create something that will be able to take it to the next level.
