In this promotional video, Evan Nicolini introduces Mira, a new social networking app designed to replace platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, and X by providing relational context for both in‑person and online connections. He frames the problem as the difficulty of knowing who someone is beyond superficial content, and argues that people need to understand a person’s relationship to them to decide whether to connect. Mira stores the location and time of each encounter, lets users search for people based on attributes (e.g., “entrepreneur who skis” in a specific city), and visualizes connections on a city map. The standout feature is the Digital Persona (DP), an AI‑trained replica of a user that can answer messages on their behalf, with DP Insights showing live visitor metrics and topics of interest. Evan invites viewers to join an early‑access waitlist at join.mira.co.

All right, we need to talk about a really big issue in the world right now, and it's simple. Who the fuck are you? Like, seriously, 9 months ago I decided to build an app with my team to answer that exact question, and there's one crazy feature that I want to show you guys because this will blow your mind. But before we get to that, every time I meet someone, I'm constantly wondering and left like, who are they? To only get their Instagram or their phone number, to go through their profile, look at photos and videos to make my own assumptions about who they are. But that stops Today, so I'm super excited to announce the imminent release of our new app called Mira, which is going to completely change the way people connect in person and online in a way that Instagram, LinkedIn, X could only dream of doing. We built Mira on the thesis of one simple thing: people want to know who you are in relation to them so that they can make a better informed decision if there's someone you even want to connect with. But right now, that's sifted through a bunch of content. Mira is the one social network to replace them all. On Mira Network, you'll be able to find publicly any You want to find an entrepreneur that skis and plays golf and is based in Vancouver? Yep, you can do that. If you're anything like me, you've met people in your life that have fundamentally changed the trajectory of your life. And without those connections, you would not have had that path. So for example, I'm in Vancouver right now. Instead of giving people my phone number or my Instagram, I give them my Mira, which saves the location I met them. And later I can ask Mira if I forget, hey, who's that guy that I met at tennis, like in Kitsilano Beach in Vancouver? Oh, John Smith. Mira will pull it up and Boom. Now you have that relational context to know the people that you met, when you met them, where you met them. Then you have Mira Connections, which is the people that you meet on the network, and you can visualize everybody in your city on the map view. You can filter by things that you like. Hey, I'm looking for an entrepreneur that skis. You can find that person just like that. And here's the one feature that will blow your mind. From Mira, you can launch someone's digital persona, which is trained to speak and act just like them. So for me, for example, I get DMs all the time from people that are like, what do you do for work? What are you building? What is your life about? And now they can just launch my digital persona and be like, yo, what do you do for work? And my DP will answer on my behalf for me. Imagine the scale of this. You as the Mira user can go to your DP Insights and you can look live active visitors. You can see, hey, the last 7 days, you know, 23 people wanted to know about entrepreneurship and business. Just such an incredible way to give people what they want. I don't want to have to go through your photos and videos on Instagram to figure out like, do you play golf? Are you an entrepreneur? Do you ski? Do you play tennis? On Mira, I can just find out information Without having to sift through a ton of content. So if you want to get early access to Mira, which I implore you to do so, you can go to join.mira.co. It'll probably be in my Instagram bio, and you can sign up today. And hey, who knows, maybe I'll connect with you on Mira.
