Drone Crashes, Books, Hats, & Pillows - Mail Time #3 - Life with Evan

In this episode of Mail Time, host Evan Carmichael and co‑host Hayden open a series of fan‑mail and sponsor packages sent by various brands. They showcase and comment on items including the Music Quest kids‑music app stickers, a Static Chaos apparel T‑shirt, a pre‑release copy of Ryan Holiday’s Ego Is the Enemy, the Onago Fly GPS‑tracking drone, Marshall Goldsmith’s Triggers, new hats from Benevolent Supply, a Rebus subscription box containing coffee, tea, a Simon Sinek book and a pen, and a luxury bedding set from Sleep and Beyond. The duo tests the tiny Onago drone, describing its setup, GPS‑follow feature, and a propeller break that leads to a failed flight. Throughout the segment they thank the sponsors, highlight product features, share personal reactions, and conclude with a call‑to‑action inviting viewers to send in products for future Mail Time episodes and to follow the linked sponsor websites.

Holy cow!
Whoa! Holy cow, we broke it already! This is a super trophy.
It's a super trophy?
Yeah.
Yeah?
And it doesn't have a head because someone sliced it off.
Oh wow, sounds very dangerous.
Hello, my name is Super Hayden. Today we will be opening some presents from Believe Nation. And the presents are— nothing. I'm going to cast a spell to make them come. Abracadabra, make the presents come! Oh my God! I need some people to help me open this. I can't just open this oversized box by myself. Abracadabra, make the people come in now!
Oh, look at all this! Ah, let's start opening some presents here.
Yeah, let's open this one first.
This one, Edify. Okay, go open.
Music Quest.
Music Quest sent you a card. Music Quest is an awesome app for kids to learn how to play music. Yes, you got some stickers!
Thanks for being good.
Adrian, Adrian, you can't read your handwriting. Thanks for being some of the very first people to test Music Quest. Your video was extremely valuable. We hope you like these stickers. Thanks, Adrian.
I love it.
This is from Static Chaos Apparel.
Chaos.
Chaos. Okay.
Sounds like very much Chaos. Ooh, looks like a costume t-shirt.
Static X Chaos apparel. I'm a Taurus, that's my sign. Look at that, I like it. Static Chaos, thank you kindly.
I like it.
Okay, what's next?
That looks good. Let's do this.
Okay. Oh, Ryan Holiday. I just came back from meeting Ryan in New York. Oh, his new book! Ego Is the Enemy. Super excited to read this. Thank you, Ryan. I don't think it's out yet, but it's about to be released. Yeah, uncorrected proof. Limited edition right here. This is the pre-release version of it.
Oh, looks nice.
Looking forward to reading it. Got some evening reading right here.
This is a super trophy.
It's a super trophy?
Yeah. Now let's open this one. What could this be right here? It's a drone!
2XL shirt? Are you kidding me? A 2X? Do I look like a 2XL? Holy cow! This is the Onago Fly Drone. The cool thing about this is it has GPS sensors, so as you walk, it can follow you along. Excited to test it. Thank you, Onago. This one I actually bought myself. Triggers. It's about habits and routine and creating behaviors that last. I was at a bookstore and kind of browsed through it and was super curious about it, so looking forward to reading it. This is by Marshall Goldsmith. Triggers. I'm excited. What's next? Benevolent Supply. Benevolent Supply is started by a guy named Mo, the Stop hat that I featured before and the Rebel t-shirt that I wore before. Rebel Supply has some new hats and this is the first one.
First hat I'm gonna wear.
Oh, I like this. Look at the packaging. Woo!
Look at that.
That's some serious packaging. Oh, it's comfortable. We believe— that's a good start. A good heart is the most fashionable accessory of all. A good heart goes with almost any— everything and suits everybody. A good heart is perfect for every season, never goes out of fashion. From the heart of LA. Well done, Mo. Super proud of you, man. This is good stuff. Same guy, Mo.
Number 2.
Oh, look at this one. Nice. Same benevolence on the front, just different style.
Same. The next one.
Next one. The Rebus box. From John Saxon in LA.
LA.
Holy!
Alright! Ah, you show this first.
What do we have? What is this? Coffee. Oh, this smells good. Read, succeed, repeat. The best investment you can make is in yourself. I believe this is one of the monthly subscriptions. Right? So you can get a monthly box of stuff to make you a better person. So we've got Atomic Coffee House Blend. Balanced milk chocolate and nutty tones. We've got some tazo tea. Awake English Breakfast. We have some books that are bound nicely here. Start with Why, Simon Sinek. To take notes, notepad.
Oh, they gave you a new pen.
A new pen to take notes with. Their message here is read, succeed, repeat.
That looks familiar.
Success through knowledge in a Rebus box. So you can get your monthly package through them. Okay, last one. You ready?
Yeah.
This is from Sleep and Beyond. Sleep and Beyond, like no other bedding in the world. We got some bedding from Sleep and Beyond. Much love, guys. So we got— hold on, hold on, hold on. What is this though? This is some kind of liquid. We got some woolly pillow, the ultimate 100% natural pillow. Holy cow! I am the king, you are the queen, we sleep like babies in between. This is the sheet set. Purity, luxury, organic, hypoallergenic, 400 thread count, 100% cotton sateen. I don't know what that is. What's sateen? It's very soft. Is it soft? Yeah. I like the bag too. This is nice. Then we got sheets. Magnificently soft sheets. Cool. Awesome. This is huge. Wow, it looks like no other bed in the world. This is a mattress topper. A mattress topper. Welcome to our family. I like the welcome to your family. Oh, there's another one. There's something else in there. It's the same thing.
It's the same thing.
There's two toppers. Oh, for one side maybe. Oh, another one.
No. Hey, there's a letter over there.
I think to get it we flip it up and put it inside.
It's a sheep.
It's a sheep?
It's a sheep.
Let's see. It's a sheep. Oh, it's a keychain.
Thank you for this big box.
Is that what you like the best, is the big box? Alright, time to open up the drone. There we go. Tiny! Look how little that drone is. It's controlled through an app. So you gotta load the— the Mago app. Please connect your camera. Alright, so it looks like I have to charge this thing and then we'll give it a shot again. Alright, so I figured it out. It doesn't need an initial charge. It just has this— it has this slot here that you gotta open up and pull these wires out and then connect them, which is actually a little bit awkward in the design to pull those out, but I did it and then it beeps when you've done it and after After every flight, you've got to disconnect these two things or it causes harm to the battery. Let's pop it in. You hear the beep? "Chain IP connected." Okay. So far so good. We got navigation here. We got navigation. Let's try it. Whoa! Whoa! "Find it! Find it!" Hold on, hold on. This is very scary.
Whoa! Holy crap, we broke it already!
That was crazy! That was crazy! Yeah, we broke this propeller.
Yeah, Tay broke the propeller.
Broke the propeller. It's super cool and it films. I gotta figure that part out, but it's not user-friendly.
Look, see?
The camera there.
If I don't got laffy buzz.
It's a learning curve, but we'll figure it out. Thank you, Anago. I'm gonna test this out. I feel like it's gonna take some time. Okay, we're gonna try it again. I'm outside this time. It said make sure there's nothing around you so that it can get hit, which is better outside, but it also said make sure it's not windy, which it is windy outside, so probably not great, but you know, I just want to try it, so I might ruin it again. We'll see what happens. Okay, and down and down and down and down and down and down and down!
Ahh!
I said down! Why didn't it go down? Holy cow, this thing. Alright, I gotta figure out what this GPS abnormalities is. Second flight not a success, but at least we did not break it, so that's a success. Thank you guys. Uh, we're gonna link up all the websites, everybody who gave us this stuff. If you guys want to send us anything, we'll link up the address as well in the description, and maybe you will be featured and your product on the next edition of Mail Time with Evan, Hayden, and Nina. So thank you guys for watching. Have an amazing weekend. Continue to believe, and we'll see you soon.
