Fast Food, DONUT Drama, and a NEW Condo: Unpacking an EXCITING Adventure!

In this energetic moving‑day vlog, Evan Carmichael, his partner Nina, and friend Alex document the chaotic transition from their old rental to a new condo. The video opens with early‑morning banter about pizza as fast food, then follows the crew as they disassemble a complex bed, struggle to find the right Allen key, and decide to hire professional movers. They load a 26‑foot truck, navigate elevator and concierge logistics, and celebrate with Tim Hortons coffee, a dozen donuts, and pizza with beer. Throughout the move, they discuss condo perks such as dual showers with ample hot water, plans for a water‑filter installation, and the layout of the new space, including a gaming station and office setup accompanied by ABBA music. Interpersonal dynamics surface through humorous arguments about who gets to do what, the “donut drama,” and light‑hearted teasing. The vlog captures the practical challenges of moving, the social rituals of food breaks, and the excitement of establishing a new living and working environment.

Holy cow, what are you doing? I can't breathe. I can't breathe.
Would you consider pizza fast food?
Of course, what? Are you serious? Pizza is like the definition of fast food. No, don't throw it in the ravine. Don't throw it in the ravine. It's on camera. Don't throw it in the ravine. It's paper. No. Jeez, the wife. Okay, we're gonna go. Go, go, go, go, go. Off to the new place. Good morning, good morning, good morning, good morning, good morning. It is now 6:43 in the morning. I got up at 5-something. Nina had an even worse night. Allergies. We're packing up. It's an exciting day. We spent all yesterday cleaning up because the guys who we bought the place from took forever to leave. So we were cleaning up as they were leaving. Super awkward. Anyway, time to pack up and go to the new place. That's what's up. So my first step is trying to disassemble the bed. This is the most complex bed I've ever had. If you don't really keep track and take pictures every step along the way, it's impossible to put it back together again. So I got my camera and, uh, time to disassemble the bed. So it doesn't look like any of our drill bits will fit, so it means I have to do it by hand. It's gonna be a lot of work. This is a super helpful tool to help you find the right Allen key. Oh, half of them are gone. This side is good, this side has nothing. This will not work. Next solution, round 2. So the last couple times we moved, we did it with our friends, and this year we decided to hire someone. We're gonna hire somebody. Easier. Yeah. All right, back to work. So much easier with a drill.
You haven't really fully moved that until the computer's gone.
So that's the next project for me. Alex from TDS wrote, "Amazing, how's the move going?" Rocking it. No more computer now. So it's official. Goodbye, sweet office. I loved you, I missed you so. Nina's getting hangry. I need some coffee and breakfast too. It's like 10 o'clock or something like that. We've been working, working, working. We're going to go to Tim Hortons, do a run, get some coffee. Anything else? Nina's going to ask them if they want coffee.
Tim Hortons.
Tim Hortons. This is where Nina got Chinese.
Coffee. Ice cap. Uh, ji ge. Sang ge ice cap. 3 ice caps.
See you soon. I've got a feast. I got our 4 ice caps, the coffee, breakfast is in here, and then underneath is another dozen donuts. Yummy donuts. Nina's saying something. What are you saying?
This is a 26 feet long truck.
Oh yeah? And?
It's almost full.
Hey, we got a lot of stuff, Nina. Mark said last week that we needed to get Nina more stuff. You need more stuff.
Right? Yeah.
Nina needs more stuff. Thanks, Mark. Thank you. And now I'm looking at this truck.
We don't need more stuff.
Nina doesn't need more stuff. Nina needs less stuff. Which of these yummy donuts do I want to try? I'm a sucker for the maple cream. So good. Okay, everything's all packed up. Yeah, we're ready to go. Yeah, goodbye house. Bye house, treated us well.
Yeah, she said that. Truck too.
Truck is going to do as well. For how long were we here?
For a year and a half.
Year and a half, is that it?
I feel like it was—
no, year and a half. Good memories, good times. New beginnings and adventures. Here we go. The truck is leaving without us. Nina, we gotta hustle.
Oh crap.
What?
Oh my God, look at the shampoo.
What happened? It's spilling. Yeah, did it get on any of my stuff? Um, oh, it's on the seat. That's embarrassing. It makes you have sparkly hair, so it'll be a sparkly car. No, don't throw it in the ravine. Don't throw in the ravine. It's on camera. Don't throw it in a ravine. No! Jeez, the wife. Okay, we're gonna go. Go, go, go, go, go! Off to the new place. Look at this big truck in front of us. Holy cow, who do they think they are? Oh wait, that's our truck. Let's follow that truck. All right, we made it. Time to get the elevator, go see the concierge, put the elevator on service, and move in. Oh, it's already set up for us. There it is, all spanking brand new. Very exciting. So even though we took possession, um, yesterday, the old owners didn't move out, so we spent all yesterday starting the cleanup while waiting for them to finish moving their stuff. They still have some things in here that he's gonna come pick up today at noon. Nina made it. It's our first day, kind of. It's very exciting. Quick update, we're about halfway through. No, not halfway through. We've got some stuff here. We've got a special creature right there. The office is starting to come together. Some of the stuff. Interesting. Nina had a donut.
That's my breakfast.
The breakfast? No, I got you breakfast.
I just didn't get a chance to eat.
You didn't eat your breakfast?
I had a half.
Don't eat the donut, eat your sandwich. Holy cow. So none of the moving guys like donuts. It's crazy. Never met moving guys that didn't like donuts.
They're Chinese.
Chinese don't eat sweet stuff. But they wanted ice caps. It's way sweet. Ice caps is different.
Okay, it's a drink.
They'll have sweet drinks and not sweet. Mm-hmm. Does that make sense? I want to know if that makes sense. Leave it in the comments. Do you like sweet drinks but not sweet food? Does that make sense? Nina says it's a Chinese thing. I don't know. Somebody explain it to me. Nina's very focused. What's she doing? She's very focused watching her Chinese videos.
I just opened it.
Holy cow. I'll be back. I'm gonna get some water. I'm back. I got the water. Donuts still have not been touched. Nina, you got to sell the donuts. A little more stuffing. Happening here. Slowly we got a couch coming in, more boxes. It's happening. Another massive advantage of a condo that I just realized is that Nina can have a shower and then I can have a shower and there will still be hot water left for me. Condo living.
What do you think?
Yeah. You know what I don't like? This path. Well, it's so close to the top, we can't get one of the big taps.
I want to install the filter water thing.
Oh, last time we put it on the thing here, right?
Yeah, but it looks ghetto, right? Now it's our place, it's nice to have a filter water.
Yeah. Okay, I don't know how to do that. You gotta cut a hole in the marble.
Yeah.
Really? Or granite.
Someone will do it.
Really?
Well, if we get those professional ones, they have to do it. We're not gonna do it. That's nice.
I feel like I'm gonna hit my head on this thing as I walk in. I want one of those big taps.
Well, I don't know how you walk in like this.
Let's see a demo.
Huh?
Listen, I have a bigger upper body. I have a bigger head. I don't know, let's see whose head is bigger. Let's do a head comparison.
Head to head, who's bigger here?
Holy cow, what are you doing? I can't breathe, I can't breathe! This is Nina's breakfast sandwich and that's her donut.
You wanna wash this stuff?
Wash what stuff? This?
I haven't used those for a year and a half.
These things?
Yeah.
You just washed them though.
Yeah, so you wanna wash the other stuff?
No, I want to get the office set up.
Well, you know what?
Uh-huh?
Not happening right now.
No, why not? You know what happens when Evan gets his mindset up?
This world doesn't build around you, okay?
This what? What did you say? This what?
Okay, just stop.
What did you say?
It's not all about you.
It's not all about me? No, it's not all about me, but trust me, like, no, see, like, if Evan does the thing that he likes, it's better for everybody. No, because otherwise I'm just gonna be distracted and think I need to go do my thing.
It's all always when you wanted something, it's always you always have to do Do it first. Now I'm going to get this napkin.
No! Ah, that was nasty. I'm going to arrange my office, but before I can do that, we need music. ABBA. ABBA is some good office arrangement theme music. Louie wants to set up a gaming station here, gaming house, to have computers there. I can stand up there and I'll have some stuff here and a bookcase here.
To stand up there Yes, we're gonna make it fit.
There's no space. I gotta go get Alex. I gotta get Alex. You figure it out. You look in there, and by the time I get back, figure out the solution. Nina just wants to stand up with me, huh? Okay, I'm gonna go get Alex. Alex is coming to help. Apparently he brought pizza and some beer. So wait, what am I doing? I don't think the escalators— elevators— stairs. I don't see Alex. What's up? Why didn't you park? You're staying, right?
Yeah, yeah. Oh, getting old. Look at that sound, grunting.
Getting old.
Getting old. Need to work out more.
Just click it. Say you're a terrorist.
Terrorist? With who?
You look like—
Hi, I'm Alex. I'm visiting Evan Carmichael. He just moved in.
You're going ahead, sir.
Yeah, thank you.
That was some next level introduction.
I was gonna say terrorist. I actually was, but I'm like, no, this is right here. Visitor parking, front end.
Get in there. Oh really? You're gonna have to front end.
Look at that.
Boom, boom, boom in the cars.
Boom! Look at that.
Boom is not the sound you— Jesus Christ.
There we go. So I got your beer. Evan drinks beer on Saturdays apparently.
Got some water.
We're gonna need one of your hands free because you're not just gonna be recording, you're gonna be carrying some stuff. I have wine in my hand.
Hands free.
Yeah, so I'll give you the bag.
I have one in my hand, but I gotta hold the key. See, I have the key in one hand and the camera in one hand. We don't need the water yet. We have— I bought water a little bit. Nina's like, we can't wait an hour for Alex. Oh, this is it. We can't wait an hour for Alex. And then she's like, and you know Alex, he's not gonna be on time anyway. So where's the beer? Where's the pizza?
I told you we're gonna order it. I told Nina 3 times, I'm like, I'm gonna come over and we'll order.
Oh, so you just have beer and water? I just— I want to— oh, okay. Okay, so give me the— I'll take the beer. Here, I'll take the beer, you take the water. We're good.
I'm gonna have a word with Nina.
Alright, I'll film.
As lovely as she is, I'll film it. How much I appreciate her as an assistant of mine.
Listen, don't hate on Nina. This is Believe Nation watching. You're gonna get torn to shreds, friend. They love Nina on this channel. Yeah, he wanted to know if you're gonna be here past midnight. I said I hope not.
You'd be lucky. You know which pizza place? You know Mama's Pizza? It's actually a really nice place. Well, if you're gonna put something in this temple, you gotta put something good, you know? Even if it's fast food. Alright. Would you consider pizza fast food?
Of course!
What?
Are you serious? Pizza is like the definition of fast food.
I know, I think McDonald's or Burger King, like, you'd think like, right? Fast food.
I don't know. These are—
Because if you go to a nice restaurant—
This is what you learn from Alex. Here we are. Woo!
This is where the magic happens. Hey Nina!
I brought an Armenian with me.
This is an awesome space. I like the red actually. This is really nice. I think maybe this coat maybe could use something different though, right?
Yeah, we're not keeping the green.
Yeah, it's not great. What are you gonna do?
Something else, but we gotta get set up first.
But it's good that the red is already done and it's relatively fresh, eh, if you look at it, because red is the one of the hardest colors to work with. Actually, you need a bunch of coats to do it.
Okay, first impressions.
I love it. It's a nice space. A lot of, a lot of magic can happen here. You get a beautiful view. Window is super important. Um, I love the kitchen. I love the island. We're gonna have some great parties here.
Alright.
Some drinks and food in here.
Peace out from Alex.
Peace out.
So the movers are done. Why is the mattress in the living room? Alright, whatever.
Well, 'cause you haven't installed the bed yet.
We gotta install the bed. We got boxes everywhere. Let's see what the bedroom's looking like. Alex is noshing on some donuts. Good. I'm starving. They refuse to eat the donuts, man. Oh, okay, we gotta put this together. Time to get to work. I love rock and roll. Alex is doing some biz. He's doing some biz.
Uh, something else. Touching my face with the nose.
Oh, right! Holy cow!
Hello?
Alex is playing with knives.
Evan, this is why you take pictures, okay?
Are you killing my angle, dude? I had it all set up! Dude, it was a time lapse! You don't mess with a camera while it's doing time lapse!
So these shelves you don't have access to?
Mm-hmm.
So these shelves, but the bed goes this way and you have a wall here. No, it's going up against this wall. Oh, the bed is this way.
Oh, because I thought this is the length of the bed.
That's what I was trying to wrap my brain around.
That is done!
