In this short motivational segment from the "Believe Nation" series, the host (Speaker A) introduces the theme "Get in the Zone" and plays a clip of Michael Jackson (Speaker B) describing his on‑stage confidence versus his off‑stage shyness. The host uses this contrast to illustrate that Jackson achieves greatness by entering a performance "zone" where his talent shines, despite being introverted elsewhere. The host extrapolates this to business advice: identify the one thing you can excel at more than anyone else, own it, and focus all effort there, rather than spreading yourself thin across many mediocre skills. The segment ends with a direct call‑to‑action, asking viewers to share in the comments what gets them "in the zone" and promising more inspirational content tomorrow.
Good morning, Believe Nation! Today's message is "Get in the Zone." Over to you, Michael Jackson.
I get embarrassed easily, and I don't know, sometimes the time I'm most comfortable on stage than any place in the world Uh, being around, you know, everyday people and stuff, I feel strange. I do. Shy? Yeah.
So one of the things that struck me about this video was you have Michael Jackson here, who's the King of Pop, who when he gets on stage, he has all this attitude and aggression. And then when he gets into an interview, he's so meek and humble and shy. When I was trying to find a clip of Michael Jackson, I actually had a hard time because in most of his interviews, he doesn't show a lot of passion and excitement. And I was thinking, how is this possible for a guy who's on stage killing it all the time, and it's because when he's on stage, he's in the zone. See, Michael Jackson doesn't fit into the average everyday life. He has a hard time, he's very shy, he's very humble, he's very antisocial. In most things in life, he wouldn't be successful, but he found the one thing that he could excel at and be great at and get in the zone at, and he owned it. You need to do the same thing for your business. Don't focus on the things you're not great at, 'cause you're not great at tons of things. Focus on the one thing that you are the best in the world at, own it, get in the zone, destroy it, and build an amazing business. So my question of the day today is, what gets you in the zone? What do you do that gets you in the zone? Leave it in the comments below. I really am curious to see what you say. Thank you so much for watching. Have a great day. Continue to believe, and I'll see you again tomorrow morning for another shot of inspresso.
