In this short #Entspresso episode, host Evan Carmichael opens with a motivational prompt to "stay confident" and hands the conversation to NBA star Stephen Curry. Curry explains his daily routine—starting with espresso—and reflects on how opponents try to limit the Warriors, describing those challenges as temporary setbacks. He emphasizes preparation, learning from mistakes, and expanding his impact beyond scoring by contributing on defense, tempo, and steals. Carmichael then shares his own confidence‑building formula: curating an environment of greatness by surrounding himself with successful entrepreneurs, consuming inspiring content, and stretching his comfort zone. He asks viewers to share their confidence‑maintenance habits, inviting comments and promising more espresso‑filled motivation in future videos.
Good morning, Believe Nation. Today's message is stay confident. Over to you, Stephen Curry.
I wake up every morning, espresso keep me going.
Well, teams obviously try to stop you. That's the way to stop the Warriors, cut the head off the snake. It bothered you at times last year in the playoffs. What have you learned from that experience?
That those times are temporary. Keep my confidence, keep my aggressiveness. I prepared well this summer to continue to get better and learn from those mistakes, I'll call them. They're gonna happen. There's no avoiding that. But just making sure that it doesn't kill your confidence and it doesn't change the way you're playing. You have to be obviously get smarter and kind of figure it out. And then maybe find other ways to impact the game, whether it's on the defensive end, getting stops, getting steals, pushing the tempo. I don't always need to be making shots to hopefully impact the game, so.
So the question of the day today is, I'm curious as to How do you stay confident? For me, it's about creating that environment for greatness. It's about surrounding myself with resources and famous entrepreneurs and watching these clips and seeing great people doing great things and being courageous makes me feel like I wanna do something outside my box, stretch my comfort zone, and that's what it is. I think if, for me at least, if you wanna create something great, you need first an environment for greatness, so work on that first, and I get that daily which makes me confident daily in my abilities to want to go and do something big. But I'm curious, how do you stay confident? What do you do daily, weekly, monthly to help that confidence rise? Leave it in the comments below. I'm going to join the discussion. Thank you so much for watching. Have an amazing day. Continue to believe, and I'll see you again tomorrow morning for another shot of espresso.
I wake up every morning with espresso, keep me going.
