Today's One Minute Monday is Use Your Passion. I was watching a video this morning with my media coach Jenny called Follow Your Flow, and as I was watching it, I was getting excited. I was getting motivated and inspired by my own video. And usually the videos I watch now, I can watch them, I'm not embarrassed by them anymore, I think they're good enough that I'm proud of them. But this was the first one that I watched and I felt, wow, that's really good, and I'm inspired by it. I want to go take action after watching my own video. And it was the first time that that really happened, and so I'm almost speechless because, because my mind is kind of blown that I did that to myself. But it came out as a result. That video was so great for me, at least, because I was so passionate in it. And Sam Walton used to say that if you are passionate about something, others will catch it like a fever. Passion is what's going to make the difference for you. It's what separates an okay idea and turns it into a great idea. It's what helps bring people onto your team who want to follow you and want to help you. You have to be excited about what you're doing. You have to follow that passion and bring it to your business, into your work, into your daily life. And if you find yourself in a point where you're not passionate anymore, where, where things are boring or stale and slow, and you hate going to this job, you hate dealing with this person, whatever it is, you find yourself not being passionate anymore, then you have to change. Because great things only happen when you're passionate about what you're doing. Believe.
