My home church is now debt free. 40 years of history. I've been going to this church since I was in my teens is when I first discovered it. Around 18, 19 years old is when I first discovered my home church. But it didn't fully become my home church until 2023. And that's when my now wife, us, the two of us started going to that church more often. That church is Calvary Chapel, Fort Lauderdale. A couple weeks ago they put out a sermon. So by the time this video comes out, it would have been a few weeks by now, but it's really in my time. Last Sunday, the last service I just went to, the pastor announced that as of like 10 days ago, something to that effect, their entire loan completely paid off. So they are now a debt free church. And this is a pretty nice sized church. The number that they were throwing out was around $22 million, I think was the original loan amount of the property of the campus. And so that's now fully paid off. And it really hit me because obviously, as you know those that have been watching this channel and if you're brand new, my name is Denzel Rodriguez. I'm your personal finance geek of the 21st century. And on this channel I've been helping people become debt free for the last seven years or building a blueprint to not just get out of debt, but also to save, invest, build wealth and pass on wealth to the next generation. And so I had time to reflect and just really process. Like, wow, okay, here's a massive organization that completely paid off their debt. They're getting ready to set and cast a new vision for the entire congregation. And I want to simply just follow in my church's footsteps as it pertains to living a debt free life. Now, as you know, on this YouTube channel, we don't just stop at becoming debt free. We talk about the other side of debt, which is how can one leverage debt to create cash flow? How can one leverage debt to create arbitrage and to offset interest costs? And there's a lot of unique creative ways that we can leverage debt to either accelerate it or create more cash flow by accumulating more assets. In my personal case, over the next two to three years, I've got a property primary focus of becoming debt free as it pertains to the value of my home, completely paying that off. And then my wife has six figures of student loans that I also want to pay off in full. And then outside of that, I'm completely debt free. I don't carry any other debt. So although math would show that I could easily not pay off the student loans, let's say, and maybe not accelerate the home and rather invest my money elsewhere, create positive arbitrage, create, offset, leverage the home for the tax and benefits and the tax deduction that you get for paying the mortgage interest and all this stuff, no doubt math would tell me I'd probably end up with more money if I just invest my money in my business and other assets. But when it comes to application, when it comes to implementation, when it comes to faith, when it comes to my walk in this new marriage of mine that I have and the life I want to live, an intentional life, by me paying off this mortgage early, by me accelerating my wife's student loans early, I'm going to show up more powerfully for you, my audience, my clients, my family, my wife. God, I'm just going to be able to show up more powerfully as an individual and serve at the highest level. And I think there's a lot of people that would agree with me from that standpoint. Which would outperform any math on a spreadsheet is the argument that I'm taking, which is, yes, your math on paper might prove that by not paying off your debt, investing instead, you'll end up with more money. That's true on paper, but I would argue because I, I don't have this obligation because I don't have this debt burden, when I invest with this new cash flow, with this authority and clarity, with vision, my performance, my rate of return will outperform anything the other person, the other me would invest in is my personal belief. And so with that, I just want to take a few minutes and give a huge shout out to Calvary Chapel, take things to the whiteboard for a second here and share with you my goals, my vision. What, what are the things that I'm working on right now. So to give you some context, I've got about 435,000 owed in my first position home equity line of credit on my property. I've got a $566,000 credit limit on that line of credit. And I am simply driving all of my income into that home equity line of credit, financing all my expenses out of the line of credit. And all of my cash flow is pretty much parked in the line of credit. There is some money that stays in the business account for operational expenses and buffer, but for the most part, everything is driving into that line of credit. Priority is really to pay that off, because my goal is to retire my wife from her nine to five. She currently is a lawyer and produces a six figure income for 2025. She'll probably generate over 115,000 I would say gross. So she's taking home a good 5,6k or more net per month if I'm not mistaken. Honestly probably more than that. I honestly don't even look at her paychecks. But she's in a position right now where her goals, what she's doing right now at the top here is saving about $10,000 or more to have about one year's worth of expenses. What I've been doing slowly but surely over time is actually taking all of her fixed expenses like her phone bill, the vet subscription for dog, the any kind of like Adobe or Microsoft Word, any kind of those subscriptions that she has, Spotify, anything that's a fixed ongoing expense that she has, her student loan payment, 300 bucks a month, like I'm just slowly but surely taking over those. And it's allowing her to pretty much save the bulk of her money each and every month. So what she's doing is just parking money in a savings account. It builds up. Once it gets to 10 plus thousand or more, she makes a lump sum payment to her properly structured high cash value whole life policy that we've been funding now since 2018. So we're in our seventh year, it's approaching six figures in cash value in that. So she has a policy loan in there of about I want to say $40,000. It's going to be coming down because she just made a $10,000 recently so might be like in the 30ish K range. And then we have an anniversary date coming up around September, November ish timeframe I forget. And we typically fund about 15,000 per year into that policy plus we cover the loan interest each and every year. And on top of that she's making 10 to 20,000 repayment loan repayments back to the policy. So her goal is pay off the policy in full. Once she does that, she'll have almost $100,000 or more built up in cash value in there outside of the policy. She wants to have an additional $10,000 in a say a high yield savings account, just liquid and available and then continue to max fund the policy. Once she accomplishes that, she'll be in a position to walk away from her six figure career by the end of 2026. Now what's going to help solidify that, her making sense financially of walking away from that six figure income is if I also increase my income by $100,000 or more. In my case, the income that I generate from a tax perspective, 100,000 is actually worth more on the business side than say 115,000 or more gross. Because of the way the taxes work, I get taxed less on this 100,000. So really all I need to do is create an additional 100/000 of revenue on top of what I already average. So if I average about 3 to $350,000 per year, my goal is to get to 450, upwards of 500,000 by the end of 2025. And going into 2026, if I can generate anywhere above 400,000 or more this year, close to 5. And then going into 2026, if I do that again, that's really going to solidify and justify her from a math standpoint for her to be able to have the confidence to be fully submitted financially to her husband, to me, be fully submitted to me financially, to rely fully on me. Absolute blessed position for us at a young age, 29, 28 years old, for us to be thinking in this way, have this kind of vision. And I give all the glory to God because He's truly the one that's given me the wisdom, the knowledge, the mentorship, the coaching, the partnerships and the right people, frankly, to protect me and keep me on course. So again, just again, big shout out to Calvary Chapel for what they've been able to do on a huge scale. And then I'm taking that as a motivation, inspiration and doing it at a smaller scale in my own household for me to achieve this. And then when I achieve this, because I've already been debt free once, so now to do it again a second time, I think it's really going to inspire my clients that may have also been debt free for a period of time and then they just had to acquire a bunch of debt for whatever reason. And now we're working towards eliminating that yet again and on to building more wealth. So if I can increase my income by an extra hundred thousand to wrap up 2025, that all that additional revenue, all that additional cash flow is simply just going to get dumped into the house. So if I generate about 4 to 500k for 2025, let's say, and do that again in 26, the house paid off, house is paid off, then there'll be some excess money where both her money that she's been able to generate with her career would have paid down the student loans. And then whatever, whatever's left if I have additional cash flow from paying off the house. And keep in mind, when I pay off the house, unlike most people who have 30 year mortgages, they can't really touch that money unless they what, borrow. Whereas I'm in a position where I already have a revolving line of credit on the property. So I have this revolving credit, credit line of 566,000 that I can tap into. So once it goes to zero, I can leverage that, that, that, that becomes available to me for future investments. So if I leverage that to acquire more real estate, if I leverage that to invest my business further, it's just going to take it to a whole nother level. But the fact that I don't have to is truly the p, the position that I want to be in. I don't want to have to do that. But if the math makes sense, more than willing to. So anyways, finishing off the house and then also paying off the student loans is really just going to bring our personal expenses down quite a bit. And this is going to position my wife to step into her purpose at a whole nother level. She knows that being a lawyer is not what she is called to do, but it is a skill set that pays a lot of money, which could be a stepping stone that could lead to her purpose. So we're very strategically working our way toward figuring out what her purpose is from a, from a work perspective, not just marriage and you know, creating a family and building a home, those, those things we're going to dial in personally. But I have the type of wife that is also a producer and she's someone that wants to contribute financially to our kingdom, to our household. So being able to figure out what exactly that is is something that will be unlocked once we free up all that time that she was dedicating to her career. On average she is billing anywhere from as low as 225, 225 hours a month to over 250 hours a month. So that is a lot of hours that is being poured into another company, another organization, you know, someone else's bank account that's, that's money and she's getting a portion of that. But being able to redirect 4050 hour plus weeks not only into our marriage and into our household and growing our foundation, but also saying, wow, I'm now in a position financially where I've got money set aside, we have assets set aside, we're completely debt free, our expenses are low and now we just get to, we get to think in peace, we get to sit for hours in silence and in our thoughts and and communicate with the Father to help deliver us his will exactly according to what he desires, so that our desires become the Father's desires. The Father's desires are our desires and we proceed in life with authority, confidence, clarity, and a righteous vision. So I'm excited. I just wanted to make this quick video to share with you the level of determination that I have right now. And another just healthy shout out to Calvary Chapel. I also run a small group ministry with Calvary Chapel called Kingdom Content Creators right here. Kingdom Content Creators. If you go on their website, Calvary Chapel and Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale and you look to the small group section, you'll be able to search my group and you'll find me there. You don't have to attend Calvary in order to join that group. So it's completely open to anyone. That's kind of the point where the idea is if you can get connected with a small group and you are able to network with people that go to that church, maybe that'll inspire that person to go to church and build a relationship with Jesus, with the Father, Holy Spirit, and also with his people. So if you're someone that is building a social media presence online and you're looking to grow and you're looking for Kingdom based thinking as it pertains to building a successful social media channel online, building a business online and what that entails, the marketing, the offers, the models, all, all of it. We have conversations, we have biblical conversations. We we pray, we gather, we network, we talk, we, we strategize, we brainstorm ideas once a month, typically, whether that's virtual or in person. So if you're in South Florida, in the Fort Lauderdale, Broward county area, there's quite a few Calvary chapels around and it's an opportunity to get connected. We have WhatsApp group and again we meet via Zoom and, or sometimes in person. And with that I'll finish again. My name is Denzel Rodriguez.
