Chapters

Getting out in the field and working on machines, interacting with customers and stuff like that is much better than being stuck in a workshop. Some days you're out there working, you know, beautiful days, you know, beautiful views that you're looking at. You know, sometimes you might be looking out over the ocean. My name's Bryce Dixon, come from Whangarei, New Zealand, and work for Brent. I started out as a car mechanic, moved over to field tech, 15, 16 years now working on tractors and I wish I'd done it from school, you know, like the technology that's in the tractors, it's awesome to see and learn about. So over the years I won, lost, won and lost. So yeah, I'm hoping that this year is going to be my year, but every time it's a different experience, but it's real mind-blowing and exciting. And to come here and be able to win it 3 times, you know, that's a good title to have.
The winner of the Agenta Service Technician of the Year for New Zealand is Bryan Seaton from Bryan Seaton Roofing.
Thanks to John Deere for the opportunity to participate in this great competition and my lovely wife Jane, who puts up with my late nights sometimes. It's just as amazing as the first time tonight winning, you know. It's really important that we try and raise the bar for technicians and show what we do as an industry. [MUSIC] [MUSIC]
