I think the thing that I enjoy most about being a parts rep is being able to deliver solutions to customers in times where they need the most, like harvest or seeding, and get them up and running again. My name's Poppy Blom. I'm from Narrogin in WA. I work at Afgr equipment. I chose to become a John Deere technician because when I was looking for a job in Narrogin, Afgr offered a traineeship and I thought it was a really great training-based job. A typical day would probably be We get lots of customer orders, picking and packing, looking for schematics and looking for parts for customers. The biggest return is when you're helping someone get up and running. Every day is different. And the winner of Parts Technician of the Year is Poppy Vong. The people that I was up against, they were very, very talented people. I'll have a lot of people proud of me.
