Agricultural Management Solutions from John Deere: iSteer

You demand quality. Your customers demand quality. But working the land to achieve quality is becoming more and more demanding. Start with excellent seedbed preparation. As a specialty farmer, you know how important it is to give your potatoes or carrots perfect conditions. High value specialty crops are demanding uncompacted soil. Perfect beds and ridges are the basis for optimum crop development. We know how difficult it is to perform all these steps manually to highest precision, especially in low visibility conditions or after a long working day. With Isteer, we can now take some of that weight off your shoulders while you continue to steer the tractor manually. GPS position information keeps your implement perfect, perfectly on track. Hydraulic cylinders precisely steer your implement. This is how you achieve those optimum growing conditions. Quality food demands, but precise offset harvesters. You will appreciate the simplicity with which you can now harvest.
