This is a YouTube video titled "Combine Field Impression of John Deere S790i" containing a testimonial and product review from November 2018. The speakers include Adrian Koo, a farm manager from Wolseley Farms Ltd in Norfolk, who discusses their long-term use of John Deere machinery, and another speaker who provides detailed feedback on the John Deere S790 combine's performance, comfort, and technology features. The content focuses on agricultural machinery performance and user experience on a large cereal farm.
My name is Adrian koo, Wolseley Farms Ltd. I'm the farm manager. We're in Norfolk and we have 7,000 acres of cereals. We've been with John Deere roughly about 30 years. We run five John Deere yes combines, two self proposed spots and 11 John Deere tractors.
I'm very happy with the S790 combine. The overall performance has been great and the losses have been very minimal and the straw quality has been very good, especially from a rotary combine and also the reliability been very reliable. The advantages of the X platform header would be the ability to move in and out the cutting bar for performance and flow of crop and also the easiness of being able to put on the side cutters for different crops without any tools. I like the quietness of the cab, the overall comfort and overall visibility in the cab. I like the new joystick as it fits comfortably into your hand and it's comfortable for long working days. I like the screen because it's easy and convenient to use on the 790 combine. I like the active fuel feature. It means that there's no need to calibrate the weigh seals for different crops, different varieties and it also makes the yield maps more accurate. I like my operations app. You're able to go on and see the yield maps that's sent directly from the combine to the app. And I also like the Go Harvest app as you're able to go on and calculate your losses and also get settings to fine adjust your combine. In addition, I use JDLink. It's very good for the information it provides like diesel usage, productivity and all our data it provides. On a big farm such as this we use the wireless data transfer feature as once we complete a fill, the data is sent directly to phone app and the farm office. Overall, I'm impressed with the productivity, the comfort in the cab and all the new technologies that come with SM90 combine.
The reason I buy John Deere combines is it's a backup of them, the technology and the performance of them as well.
