This is a YouTube video titled "Commercial Mowing TWEEL by MICHELIN John Deere" created in November 2014. The content is a commercial or promotional presentation describing the Michelin X Tweel Turf, an innovative airless tire technology designed exclusively for John Deere Z Track zero-turn mowers. The video explains the product's unique construction, benefits such as no flats or downtime, smooth ride, and superior durability compared to pneumatic tires.
It's not a tire, it's not a wheel. Quite frankly, it's not like anything else you've ever seen. It's the Michelin X Tweel Turf. And it's only on John Deere Z Track 0 turn mowers. So what sets this apart from every other pneumatic tire on earth? First of all, the Michelin X Tweel turf is airless. It has all the qualities you want in a pneumatic tire, but it never needs air. So say goodbye to flats, downtime and patch kits. But how it performs is where the Michelin X Twee turf really shines. You see, the Michelin X Tweel turf has a unique construction. The outer portion is a strong yet flexible beam called a shear beam. This beam is connected to the inner hub by thin yet very strong deformable spokes. As contact with a surface such as asphalt or turf is applied, the spok at the bottom deform, taking the force of the surface, providing a unique energy transfer that reduces bounce. The result is a much smoother ride. Take a look at how the Michelin Tweel takes on a bump track versus a pneumatic tire. You easily see that while the pneumatic can't cushion the shock of the bump track, the Michelin Tweel easily cushions the impact of each and every bump. And in the area of wear and tear, a Michelin X Tweel Turf has no competition. Since it's made of automotive grade rubber, it delivers a consist footprint with strong wear life that is three times that of a pneumatic tire. So whether it's nails or glass or anything else that could ruin or penetrate a pneumatic tire, the Michelin X Tweel Turf just keeps rolling along. Remember, it's not a tire, it's not a wheel. It's the Michelin X Tweel Turf made exclusively for John Deere Z track mowers. For more on the Michelin Xtool turf, go to john deere.com tweel supplies are limited. Keep mowing.
