When I got old enough to start buying equipment, I called J. Snakeup. I'm Lamont McCray, owner of McCrae Lawn Care and Landscaping. We currently started this business roughly 20072008 as a lawn care company. We offer a full line of landscaping from site prep, grade work, irrigation plants, sod, retaining walls and several other things that involves landscaping. We maintain roughly 30 propert. We take a few call ins, but we have a crew that maintains all the properties and we have a crew that maintains all the landscaping. We keep the grass maintained at sun south of Sampson. Also, a typical day around here at McCrae Landscaping is moving a lot of dirt, installing irrigation, installing plants, mowing a little bit of grass and so on and so forth and keeping our equipment serviced and ready for the next day. I actually bought my first zero turn John Deere lawnmower from sun south from Jason Acoback when I was about 17, 18 years old. So I've been hooked on John Deere equipment ever since. As a little kid going into Sun South, I remember getting toys off the shelf when dad would go in to buy parts. Alan, Bob, Mr. Eddie Williams, I mean we've been buying parts from those guys since I'm big enough to remember. We now own several John Deere lawnmowers, a couple John Deere skid steers, a couple John Deere Mini XS. SunSouth also sells us a lot of steel equipment. Weed eaters, blowers, chainsaws, pressure washer, so on and so forth. We've had really good luck with steel equipment. They always keep the parts available, keep plenty of inventory in the store, good selection of steel equipment to choose from. Also, I chose to do business with SunSouth because of the sales and the service and naturally John Deere makes great equipment.
