Alan and Linda Meyer talk about buying a John Deere lawnmower and praise the sales staff, especially Josh Dean, for being knowledgeable and courteous. They highlight the excellent customer service that made their purchase experience smooth.
Reverend Allen Meyer. I'm the pastor of Echo United Methodist Church. And we moved here from Illinois down and I've been here now six years, six years that we've lived in this area.
And I'm Linda, I'm his wife and I'm from northern Alabama. Married a Yankee and brought him home. The salespeople, they knew their equipment, they were willing to talk to us, they were willing to explain things to us. They made me comfortable. I came there looking for a steering wheel and I left with something totally different. And they taught me how to run the lawnmower and not be afraid.
We looked at several other places before we decided on going to Sunset. And we looked there two or three times. And you know when you have to search for a serviceman, they don't know the equipment, they don't ask the right questions or what we needed to know about buying our first lawnmower. And so SunSouth came out and the salesmen were absolutely right on, asked the right questions, talked to us about what we intended to do with it, and then took us right to the right mower and just made it an enjoyable expense that we had to pay out. We went from Dothan and on our way up to uab. We went out and stopped it at a couple places on our way up and looked at lawnmowers and just, you just did not feel at home. You didn't feel that you were part of a family, part of. They were involved in your life or they wanted to know more about what was going on and how you wanted a moor and, and so that's why we settled on our John Deere and.
We looked for six months or more.

Well, I can tell you, being that I was looking for a lawnmower with a steering wheel and now I have the zero turn. The zero turn. I know that I can handle it with practice and I'm not fearful of it. And that was my biggest fear, is not, not having that steering wheel and making myself uncomfortable. I'm not uncomfortable by trying it my first time because number one, Josh Dean explained things in a way that I could understand.
Yeah, the salespeople were phenomenal at explaining and taking the time of the operation and the beauty of the mower. And I couldn't be more happier. I would recommend them anytime because of the sales knowledge of the sales department. Service department was great. And when we, when they showed it, we got to see the service department. But just the all around people to people relationships was phenomenal and how they, they treated you as somebody who was really important. And they just, they asked the right questions and it was the best thing we could have ever done.
Yes, they just. The time they spent with us and making us feel comfortable, especially at our age. You know, sometimes people look at us and kind of blow us off because we're older, but he didn't. Josh was so knowledgeable and he was so courteous and he made us feel comfortable.
Yeah. And he took all the time. I mean, he was in no hurry to answer questions, to talk to us, to show us the equipment, how it worked, how easy it was to look at how we change the oil to how we clean the deck. He just did it all.
Not only that, showing us how we could finance and be able to pay for it in a reasonable amount of time.
Yep. It was the easiest, most hassle free transaction we've done. Yeah, it really has been. I want to thank Josh for being our salesman, John Deere. He's an asset to the company. John Deere should be proud of his knowledge. His. He just makes you feel at home. He makes you feel part of his family. And like I said, he delivered. So that made it even better yet for us. And so I thank him immensely for everything. He's a great salesman. Thank you.
