Terry Jones, a retired game warden from Damascus, Georgia, talks about buying a tractor and mower from Sunsouth. He discusses his experience with the equipment and the customer service he received from Danny Hams, the Sunsouth representative in Blakely.
I'm Danny Hams, I work with Sunsouth out of Blakely, Georgia. I'd like to introduce to our latest customer here, Ms. Terry Jones from Damascus, Georgia. And we've been knowing each other all the way back when we were teenagers and Terry wanted her tractor and she bought it from sun south out of Blakely. And I was lucky enough to sell it to her and think she's going to enjoy it.
Me and Danny's known each other quite a while and I'm a retired game warden and my daughter introduced me into some stock with Robin Hood and it was called Doge, but I call it Doggy Corn. And so I invested and it just, when I got into it, it was really, really low, way below a penny. And anyway, when it went up, I decided I wanted a tractor. So I said I'm going to sell enough to get my tractor and this is what I got. And Danny helped me pick it out, told me what I would need out here because he knew what kind of farming I did. And so this is what I got, Sunsouth. They always, when I call and tell them I need something, they're there. If I go get a part, they're there to help me. And if I don't know what the part is called, they'll look it up on that on the monitor and say, is this what you're talking about? And I'll say that's it, that's it. So they're very helpful. They delivered my tractor, my other mower had broke down, wouldn't crank and also called up, I had to call Taylor and he hooked me up with the lawnmower, got this mower and it took me two hours. I only used a quarter of a tank of gas to cut this. I mean it goes, it really goes. So I've got a brandy mower and a brand new tractor with air conditioned, no gnats, and love it. I used sun south and especially Blakely because I knew Danny and I knew he would do me right. He said, terry, this is what you're going to need for what you're going to do. So that's the reason I use sun south and John Deere. You can't beat a running deer, you know.
