Ekapa Diamond Mine uses John Deere equipment and JDLink fleet management to track machines and fuel use across their operation. The mine reports better fuel efficiency, reliable equipment, and responsive service from John Deere.
We are pleasantly surprised with John Deere and really enjoying them.
One thing that really stands out for me is the JD Link system.
Recently we've been introduced to the John Deere fleet which we find very exciting. Primarily the ADT's and it's turned out to be very successful. We definitely got a 10% advantage on fuel economies.
So especially with our fuel.
They help a lot when we get.
Our alerts through for excessive idling in.
That we can tackle it to minimize.
Our usage of fuel.
Like a very reliable, strong, well built machine which we're very happy with. The operators enjoy operating them, they're easy to operate. Our maintenance team enjoys working on them.
JDLink system which is available on all our John Deere fleet. I can monitor the alerts that is coming through and corrective action can be taken immediately.
The after sales service has been very good so far. The small issues that we've had have been addressed very speedily which we're quite impressed with.

The machines are very reliable. Service accessibility on these machines are great. It enables technicians to access service points quicker.
We've got a fleet of 12 John Deeres at the moment. Combination of 45 ton ADTS, loaders, excavators, dozer and skid steer loaders. We've had no issues with them thus far. So far we're impressed.
