John Deere's SmartGrade technology for compact track loaders eliminates manual staking in grading work, saving time on the job site. The system uses embedded components to automate what used to require multiple manual steps.
Every morning when the operator gets to the job site, the machine is ready. We're not requiring people to have to climb onto the machine and put on components. All the components are already installed. They're embedded in the vehicle. Turn it on and go to work.
Not having masts or cables is a big deal. Deere takes the approach that they're gonna protect that st so that, you know, this, this stuff lives.
They're buried, they're protected, they're safe.
Takes a lot of the man, the manpower out of the situation.
You know, everybody's got information they need. They're not waiting on stakes, we're not waiting on engineers. We get a file and away we go. Not having to pound all the stakes into the ground is very nice.
Yeah, usually you get in trouble for running stakes over it.
It seems to me like every time you pound a stake in the ground, you end up with either a hump or a hole. If you doing this stakeless grading, it takes all for.
Deere to come out with, you know, great control on a ctl. I think it's long overdue. No other manufacturer really has like a full on system in a CTL ready to go. So I think that's awesome.
