I'm Mark Porter, Porter contracts. We're running agricultural contracting business just outside Lisbon of Northern Ireland. The crops are very heavy here and we're chopping a lot for ad plants. We're harvesting just probably slightly over 5,000 hectares a year, mostly grass. We've got whole crop and maize too. We chop a lot of hectares and John Deere has guaranteed us with their general line parts, 3,000 hours or five years. And that fixes our costs and is important to our business.
My name is Mark Conder. I'm an agricultural contractor from the northwest of England. I specialise in mainly grass harvesting. We harvest three and a half thousand hectares of grass and we also have a small dairy farm at home. We're milking 85 cows. We've replaced our old fleet with the two John Deere forages this season. A9,800 and 8500. The most impressive item was the harvest lab. I do believe that that's the thing that's going to help take my business forward and also for the farmer to get more information of his land and intakes and production of his fields.
