John Deere leaders discuss how the company supports farmers and contractors across Africa and the Middle East. They emphasize understanding customer needs, building trust with dealers, and helping operations become more profitable and sustainable.
Our vision for the company was inspired by our customers.
We have individual development plans to make sure that our employees are developed and skilled and ready to support our customers and dealers.
The focus on financial solutions for farmers have really shifted from purely being a bank to really providing value to the farmers. We have a great team backing us up in Africa. It is a demanding market, but we are doing much more than all of us thought would be possible to do, thanks to the John Deere team.
What makes all of this work is through a highly inspired workforce. And it's very, very important that our customers make money, our dealers make money. We have to pay attention. I think it's incredibly important that we get our heads like out of a book and out of the four corners of the office and get out in the field and really understand pain points.
If you look at the John Deere employees and colleagues, they are committed. They make sacrifices on a daily basis.
Always doing the right thing when no one is looking is important. It builds trust. We are protecting our brand, not just John Deere, but as well as our dealer.
We understand that we have a huge opportunity to make John Deere customers the most profitable, the most productive and the most sustainable.
