How To Activate JDLink™ Connectivity | John Deere Operations Center™

Step-by-step guide to activating JDLink connectivity, a free service that sends data from compatible John Deere machines to the Operations Center. The video walks through login, checking equipment eligibility, and setting up automatic enrollment to keep your machines connected.
In today's video, we will discuss how to activate JDLink connectivity. JDLink connectivity is the connection that allows automatic data flow between customers connected machines in the Operations center and JDLink. JDLink connectivity is a free service, no subscriptions and no renewal dates. Customers can enable connectivity service on any equipment with compatible modems for as long as they choose. Please note that this process must be completed by an authorized staff member of the organization that has contract acceptance. Let's get started. First, log into your operations center or JDLink organization. After login, if you have contract acceptance permissions, you will be greeted with a connectivity prompt. Select Begin Process to choose which machines to enable with connectivity service. Or select Remind me later to create complete the process at a later date. After selecting Begin Process, you will be able to choose which eligible equipment from within your organization to enable. Eligibility is determined based on modem compatibility and when eligible equipment is present for your convenience, the default option will be to enable connectivity. Current time based subscriptions will end if connectivity service is turned on. However, any current time based subscription will remain active until either the subscription expires or or until you choose to turn on connectivity service. Currently, ineligible equipment from within your organization will also be shown. For these, please contact your local dealer to learn about available options to establish connectivity. Please review the selected modems and associated equipment as well as the JDLink Telematics Service Agreement. To save time and make future connectivity seamless, you can choose to enable automatic enrollment and connectivity. This will ensure that any new eligible pieces of equipment that are transferred into your organization in the future will have connectivity service automatically applied. That way, your eligible equipment will automatically become active as soon as it lands in your organization. And just like that, you've enabled JDLink connectivity for your machines. Remember, any current eligible machines that were not enabled via the connectivity prompt will need to be enabled individually. First go to Setup, then select Equipment. Select the machine implement or modem you wish to activate. Open the Information tab. Under Connectivity, select Activate. Repeat the steps highlighted earlier in this video to activate Connectivity. If you are not sure if you have selected Automatic Enrollment during during the initial process, you can turn this option on. Under Organization Preferences, select the Terms and Conditions tab. Select Automatic Enrollment Now. When machines are transferred to your organization, JDLink connectivity is automatically activated for you, which keeps you connected to your machines seamlessly. Thanks for watching.
