In Licenses, users will see all licenses owned by the selected organization. Search and Filter options are at the top. Tap a license to review additional details and license history. In the side panel, select a license to take additional action, such as Assign Transfer, or Export a spreadsheet. We'll cover key workflows for managing licenses, including Assign, which associates a license with a machine or device in an organization, and Transfer, which moves a license to another organization. To use a license, it must be assigned to a piece of equipment. When you purchase a license, your John Deere dealer will transfer your new license into your Operations center organization, where you will be able to view and manage the license in Licenses. Often the license will already be assigned to equipment. To assign a license, select the license in the Assign button at the top of the page. You can also click Assign Equipment for the desired license. Verify license information, then choose the organization and equipment needing the license. Choose the delivery method and click Assign. The system will now create the license file and prepare it to send over the air. Once the license file is created, select Done to return to the Licenses tab. The license is now pending assignment and the license file has been sent over the air. Once the file has been properly accepted by the device, it will return a confirmation to Operations center and the assignment will be complete. If you need to change a license assignment, tap the license to open the side panel. Choose Remove Assignment. Verify the license information and choose a delivery method and choose Remove Assignment. The system will now create a deactivation file and either queue for over the air delivery or for a manual download and delivery. Once the file has been created, choose Done for over the air deliveries. Operations center will wait in Deactivation Pending Status until confirmation is received from the equipment that the deactivation file was delivered to. Manual deliveries require the user to enter a confirmation code obtained from the device after the deactivation file is delivered. Once the delivery has been verified, the license is now available for selection and and assignment to other equipment. Each license must be assigned a Supporting Dealer. This is the dealer who will support you with renewals and other license management tasks. The Supporting Dealer could change over time and can only be changed by the customer. Dealers cannot change the Supporting Dealer. To change the Supporting Dealer, tap the license to open the side panel. Under Supporting Dealer, choose Edit, then choose one of your partner dealers. You can also choose Partner with another Dealer to open Team and partner with another dealer. Once the new Supporting Dealer is selected, choose Save to save changes. Your licenses will now show on the New Supporting Dealers list of licenses to help renew and manage There are various support tools available to users within Operations Center.
