Hello. Today I will show you what to do if you get locked out of Your John Deere Generation 4 display or if you forget the Security PIN code password to your display. If the PIN code feature is enabled when you start up your system, you will be prompted to enter the administrator or operator Security PIN passcode. If you enter the incorrect passcode five times, you will be locked out of your display by clicking on the Forgot PIN button at the bottom of the screen. A window will pop up explaining how to reset PIN using the Master unlock code. We will start this recovery process by signing into your customer account on myjohndeer.com on this page we will click on Seller Support, then click on your Language and Ag and Turf Division. On this page we will click on Product Activation. And since we're using a Generation 4 display, we will click on Manage Product and Displays. On this page, we will go over to the small I icon on the right side of the screen and click on it. On this page we will enter the challenge code which was shown to us on the display itself. On the lockout page we will enter that code, click on Retrieve code, and here is your Master unlock code for logging back in to your Generation 4 display. We will enter that code where we were prompted to on the display itself. And now we will reboot the display so we can restart the system without any security PIN passcodes.
