How To Recover Pin Code | John Deere StarFire™ 6000

Hello. Today I will show you what to do if you get locked out of your John Deere Starfire 6000 receiver from too many invalid attempts of your security PIN code or if you forget your PIN code password. Upon starting up the machine, we are prompted to enter the four digit security PIN password if we had previously set up our password for our Starfire 6000 receiver. If we enter a security PIN passcode that is incorrect five different times, we we will be locked out of our Starfire receiver. At the bottom of the screen where it says Time remaining we can see that it says two days. That means that we have two days of use from our Starfire receiver until we are completely locked out and will have no access to our Starfire receiver until the Master unlock code is retrieved. We will be able to enter a Master unlock code on the Isobus VT page on the Padlock icon where it says Temporary Access. Here we can click on Restore Access which will take us to a page where we are allowed to put in our Master unlock code. By clicking Enter code we will be able to enter the 24 digit master unlock code. We can start that retrieval process of getting the Master unlock code by signing in to myjohndeer.com in your customer account. On this page we will click on Stellar Support. Then we will click on English. Then the AG and Turf Division. On this page we will click on Product Activation. Since we are On a Starfire 6000 receiver, we will go over to the Receivers page and click Manage Product. We will locate our receiver and then we will click on the Eye icon on the right side of the screen. On this pop up window we will click on Retrieve code and that is the 24 digit code which we will enter into our Starfire the 6000 receiver. When we enter that Master unlock code into the display, it will unlock our Starfire 6000 receiver and restore it to full use. Thank you for watching this video.
