John Deere AgLogic lets you set up wireless transfers of prescription files to your displays. This tutorial walks through the configuration steps in the AgLogic software so your equipment can receive the files automatically.
The days of carrying around USBs are gone. Customers who have a wireless connection are now able to wirelessly transfer RX prescriptions from the aglogic system directly to their John Deere or Raven displays. Today we will show you how to set up these transfers in the AgLogic system. To begin, let's go into AgLogic and navigate to the Equipment tab and then the Applicators tab. We will start with setting up the Deer display by selecting the name of the applicator and that we would like to link to the John Deere machine. In this case, we will select Yukon Prod. This action then populates the following box that you see here. From here we will select from the Operations center equipment dropdown and choose the unit that we would like to link to that applicator. Please note that the user must have machine permissions 2 in operations center to see machine data here in this dropdown. After this action is completed, you'll see that the make and Model fields will be populated. Now, finally, you must select the Save button at the bottom of the page. This process is the same for a Raven display as well. If we go back to the Applicator page, we select the name that we'd like to link the Raven unit to. In this case, Prod Tractor. Again, you will see that the fields populate with the name of the applicator. Next, we will have to retrieve our Raven access key from the Slingshot website under the Manage tab. Shown here. Then we will select our field computer. When this is done, select Save at the bottom of the screen. Now, anytime a work order with a prescription file is assigned to an applicator, the RX file will automatically be sent wirelessly to the John Deere or Raven display inside the applicator. Now your applicators are ready to head out to the field. Thanks for watching.
