HYDRO PC

The Hydro PC is a flow regulating dripper made up of three the dripper body, the top cover and the flow regulating diaphragm. Each dripper has its own inlet filter with a large filtering area, an efficient and accurate labyrinth and two outlet chambers with a connecting channel. The Hydro PC is optimally designed to fit the pipe's diameter and is intended for medium and thick wall drip lines. The water from the pipe enters the dripper through the inlet filter and exerts pressure on the bottom of the diaphragm. The large cross sectional labyrinth provides excellent protection against clogging the water. Reaching the regulating chamber exerts less pressure on the top part of the diaphragm and regulates the dripper's flow rate. The water continues to the outlet chambers and from there to the ground through two drip holes. Irrigation water usually contains dirt particles. The inlet filter only enables small particles to pass through. The turbulent water flowing through the labyrinth carries the dirt particles with it. When the particles accumulate in the regulating chamber, the self cleaning mechanism kicks in. The decreased flow rate changes the pressure on the upper side of the diaphragm pushing it down, expanding the path and allowing the increased flow to flush out the particles. The Hydro pcnd with its NO drain drippers is especially designed for pulse operation and subsurface irrigation. The no drain mechanism protects the drip line from soil particle infiltration when the water is shut off. As soon as the water is turned back on, the drippers resume operation. Regular maintenance is essential for an effective and long lasting dripper operation.
