A breakdown of how Hydrodrip drip tape works for irrigation. The tape has molded drippers, a labyrinth design to resist clogs, and a filtration system built in. Different flow rates let you match water delivery to what your crops need.
Hydro drip drip tape is constructed with molded drippers that provide excellent irrigation uniformity across the entire field. This dripper contains multiple inlets to effectively filter large particles, a large chrome cross sectional labyrinth with sharp teeth for clog resistance and an outlet chamber hydrodrip is currently offered in two diameters of 16 and 22 millimeters and four different flow rates 0.8, 1.2, 1.6 and 2.3 liters per hour. The drippers are welded to the inner tube wall of the drip T. It is offered with either a flap outlet for subsurface application designed to protect against dirt particle suction with a wall thickness of 10 to 15 mil, or a hole outlet for surface applications with a wall thickness of 18 to 25 mil. So let's go with the flow and follow the water as it flows through the drip tape. Water enters the dripper through the numerous filter inlets, continues along the turbulent labyrinth, pushing its way forward until it reaches the chamber. The inlet filters effectively keep out the large dirt particles as the water flows into the dripper. The labyrinth design creates a water turbulence that carries the remaining particles forward. At the end of the flow path, the water containing the dirt particles is flushed through the outlet and out to the ground. Hydro drip drip tape combines both performance and clog resistance qualities perfect for a wide range of row and field crop applications.
