This is a YouTube video titled "IBC increases productivity" featuring Jarno Pikarinen, who shares his 26 years of experience in forestry. He discusses the use of John Deere machines and the benefits of IBC technology in improving operator comfort and productivity. The content is a monologue focused on forestry machinery and operational efficiency, created in 2018.
My name is Jarno Pikarinen and I've worked in Forestry for 26 years. We have seven machine chains and 31 employees. We chose John Deere a long time ago when we found the right machine and the right dealer. The first machines we acquired were the Locomo 909 and for harvesting energy wood. We needed a yard machine to lift the rolls to the trailer. And a boom was also needed for logs. So we purchased the 1976 machine. It's been sitting behind the hall for many years now. Right now it's a little cramped in here. We should have more room. Time will tell how we expand from here. This is our number two machine and it's the right brand. We're sticking with it because it's so durable. IBC makes the operators work easier and helps to keep them from getting too tired. I've tested ibc. Grapple movements are easy to control. And you don't have to think about the use of the boom extension. It's a great tool. The absence of the shocks to the boom means that the structures will last longer. And when the operators aren't as tired, naturally their productivity improves.
