John Deere's SmartGrade system helps compact track loader operators grade more accurately by providing real-time information, reducing errors and making them more versatile on the job.
As someone who specializes in grading I would say this machine it does prevent you from making mistakes. It takes the guesswork out of it.
I can take somebody who doesn't have a ton of experience and they can be productive fairly quick and in today's day and age I'm having trouble finding able and willing bodies to put in the seat of a machine.
I can drop it off and not have to worry about it. He has all the information he needs right in that screen right in front of him so it makes me more versatile.
If that monitor wasn't there at all you're basically just grading blinder. This tells you what your cross slope is and it's basically a blueprint in front of your face so you can see where your curbs and your streets are where the building is, where your transport pads are. It shows you everything that's on the plan. I don't think any one of my operators complain about running smart grade CTL It.
