Hey guys, this is Philip coming to you again from SunSouth down here in Dothan, Alabama. Today we're actually on location set up at the national Peanut festival. So if you're around the area, you know what it's about. Come by and see us. We got a big boot, lots of equipment going on. Come by and see us real quick. Just going to do a real fast walk around on our smallest compact excavator in the lineup, the 17G. This machine is perfect for a. For a small landowner who's got small projects around the place, or for that small contractor, or even a bigger contractor who's got a lot of work in residential neighborhoods. This thing is perfect. Pull it behind a half ton truck. Lots of versatility with the track adjustments on here so you can get in and out of the small backyards and save your guys a lot of work with the shovel. It's a 15 horsepower machine. You can get buckets ranging from a 80 holes like normal. You do have the backfill blade which is also adjustable as well. Again, depending on the track settings, which we'll go over here shortly. So coming back to the back of the 17G shanks, everything you need right in here. Easy to get to. Obviously it's a smaller machine, so it's a little more compact, but still easy to reach and get a hold of. So coming right here on the platform of the 17G, it's a real simple, easy to operate machine. So like all of our other excavator lineup, you can switch your controls from excavator to backhoe. So you know if you're on a backhoe most of the life or that's what you do on your job site. And the controls are what you're used to. Simply turn the knob, run it like a backhoe, or you know, if you're new to it and you want to just run it how it comes, leave it like it is and go to excavator mode. Going up here, standard parking brake. All your controls are exactly the same. From small machines all the way up to large machines. You've got foot and hand operations, your blade operation and all your other controls as far as your throttle working lights, key switch and everything on the right hand side. Nice high back, comfortable working seat. So if you're in the seat a little longer than what you expected to, or if you got a long job planned ahead, you're going to be comfortable. Time to come right here on the roof, which is key for all the John Deere machines and equipment. We're Big on periodic maintenance charts. So right there, new operators for you guys that are going to put this in a fleet or even, you know, the average homeowner, like I said, wants to take care of their own equipment. Everything you need to know right there tells you the time when it needs to be done, and, you know, and all your specs and everything you need. One of the last talking points I just want to hit on real fast on the 17G. All right, so we talked about it being small and compact, but let's talk about the versatility. So when the standard configuration, like it sits right here. So for you guys in your big city areas, Metropolis has got a lot of subdivisions with tiny backyards, tiny fences. As it sits right here, your 39 inches outside track to outside track. So getting in those backyards, being able to do footer work around houses or, you know, on small sidewalks, stuff like that. This is perfect for you because you can leave it in small mode, get in and out. But let's just say if you're in a. In a subdivision or an area where you need to have a more versatile machine to be, you know, a little more stable, maybe there's inclines and declines. One of the very cool things about this machine. And I'm gonna crank it up. We'll show you. So on the blade up front, it is adjustable. Pull your pin, swing your blade out, and you can adjust it on the fly as needed for your tracks. But what you can also do from the machine or hopping off of it, you've got a valve right here behind the seat. You hold it, and the tracks will automatically extend out to where you've got full access. You're a little more stable, you're a little wider platform, so your operators are more comfortable if you're having to dig off to the side and not over the blade. So just another really neat, cool feature only available on the 17G lineup, you know. So if you got any questions, check us out, comment. Like, subscribe, shoot us an email. Check us out. If you got any questions, come see us. When you think equipment, think sunsy.
