John Deere 244L Compact Wheel Loader

Hey everybody, this is Phil with SunSouth down here in Dothan, Alabama. Coming to you today from the Peanut festival down here. Just want to do a real quick walkthrough of one of our newer offerings which is a 244L compact wheel loader. So construction guys, guys that are doing a lot of land clearing, land cleanup, dirt work in particular moving pipes, culverts. This is a, it's a big time machine for a small time price up front. We've got got it equipped with a skid steer quick attach a carrier. It is an electric quick attach from the cab. So going from implement to implement, you never have to get out unless you're unhooking hydraulic hoses or anything like that. But if you're going from a bucket to forks, forks back to a bucket, you save a lot of operator time and in and out of the cab because they can do everything from the seat. We've got this one on display hooked up with the John deere root rake, 78 inch rake. So again going back into the land clearing and cleaning up debris piles. We're in an area that gets a lot of tornadoes during the summer and then all through hurricane season, you know, if we get hit with a storm. So you can do a lot of cleanup with this machine. It's a 12,500 pound machine, 73 horsepower. So you're under that depth mark. You don't have to worry about dealing with the def fluid lifted capacity. Your rated operated capacity is around £4,000. But your actual tipping percentage, you're upwards over to £8,000. So it's a good strong machine. You're upwards close to 70% of the machine weight that you're able to pick up and kind of move around in those tough times when you actually need it. Alright guys. So on the back side of the 244L, the hood latch gets up clear to where you can check everything. A lot of your vital areas that you need to do them daily inspections and routines with or your guys are out in the field for dry dusty environments. You can swing out this first fan, get a good air compressor in there, blow it out, get all the dust and everything out of it, make sure it's good and clean so your machine's breathing real well and moving around from there. Like I said, you got the swing out cooler so you can dust it out. Everything back here. Easy access, easy to get to all your checks. Fuel, water separator filters, easy to get to. One man show dust unloader valve. Again, Dry dusty environments. Moving a lot of dirt, doing a lot of pad preps and different things. You know, it's important to be able to let your machine breathe so you can access and it'll run longer, longer lifespan with everything. All right. And then so on the driver's side, left side of the machine, however you want to put it, right here on the side of the engine bay, you've got a periodic greasing chart. So it shows you where all your greasers are, your hour intervals of where you need to grease them to keep the machine healthy, keep it lubricated. Also right here you got perfect, easy to see, easy to read sight glass for your hydraulic oil. Make sure you're running in that good sweet spot. Everything looks clear, everything looks good. So if you need it, if you're a little low, you know, if you run a hydraulic driven implements like grapples or any kind of, you know, mulchers or anything on the front. If you got a high flow machine, keep track of your hydraulic fluid, let you know what's in the tank at all times without even having to pop the hood. So right here on the side of the machine, just going to show you a quick up into of the cab. So the door swings all the way around and it actually does lock back. So you know, if you got guys on the ground, you know, and it's a cooler day, you want the cab open for better communication. It does lock back, you got a couple of grab handles so you're safe getting in and out, skid proof steps. And then once you climb into the cab, you got a fully pressure sealed cab with a nice weighted suspension seat, tilt steering, all your controls, easy to get, get too easy to access. So again guys, that was just a real quick brief walk around of The John Deere 244L compact wheel loader. Again this is a articulating machine, so good for tight spaces, good when you got to lift a lot of heavy stuff, but you need a smaller machine to get it done.
