This is a YouTube video titled "John Deere ActiveYield™ - Automatic Yield Monitor Calibration" containing an instructional tutorial explaining how to calibrate the Active Yield system for accurate crop yield data measurement. The video guides users through the calibration process, settings, and maintenance tips for the yield monitor system, created in September 2021.
When harvesting the compatible crop types, Active Yield automatically calibrates the mass flow sensor on the go to ensure accurate yield data. To check the status of Active Yield, first select the menu button in the bottom right hand corner of the display, then select the grain handling application followed by Yield Calibration on the pop up. If this is the first time you have accessed the Yield calibration screen, you will be prompted to complete the Mass flow vibration calibration. The calibration screen will appear, select Calibrate and the prerequisites will be shown. You will need the Machine in Park header attached header and separator engaged and the engine in high idle. Select Next and the calibration will complete. Once it is completed, select Save. A Mass flow vibration calibration should be completed each time the front end equipment is changed or the crop type is changed. This can be done through the Calibrations page. Going forward now we will navigate to the Active Yield page. You will see the Master on off switch Calibration with crop type and number of samples accepted. The quality chart shows the accuracy of the calibration and current status of the sample is below that a sample can be rejected based on criteria listed in the operator's manual to ensure only representative samples are used. You can use the advanced settings to reset calibration if needed. Thanks for watching and make sure you check out the other how to videos.
