John Deere and Corteva Agriscience announced a collaboration to bring technology to farmers in Sub-Saharan Africa and South Africa. The partnership aims to improve agricultural efficiency and profitability by combining their technological expertise.
John Deere is really excited to be associated with Corteva Pana Pioneer. This relationship started off basically through an informal conversation we had a couple of months ago with the leadership of Corteva. We saw a lot of synergies across Sub Saharan Africa. We're dealing with the same customer to a large degree and a strong focus on technology on the continent. What does mou, or Collaboration Agreement actually means for both parties? It's just for us to collaborate and work together to say, how do we bring two of the leading agricultural companies in the world together to offer a better solution to our end customer?
One of our values is to build together and our belief is that we keep growing by building with partners. We've identified John Deere as one of our partners, being a multinational company as well, to partner with them to see how we can bring technology to farmers. We believe that the the synergy between John Deere and Corteva is technology. We would be able, by partnering together, to provide better value for farmers in every field that they have.
