The video highlights the importance of John Deere Financial in supporting equipment sales and celebrates top performers.
John Deere Financial is represented giving out awards for the first time at Empress palace at the John Deere Awards for 2018. And I think it was a really good thing from John Deere to combine all the different awards that we give every year into one specific night. Almost like the Oscars of John Deere for Sub Sahara Africa. John Deere Financial plays a key role in supporting the sale of our equipment. For John Deere and for our dealers, we're recognizing our salespeople, we're recognizing the support staff that they have in the role that they play to sell our John Deere equipment. The winner for the Business Administrator of the year was Melinda de Beer. Down from the Cape did an excellent job in supporting the salesforce and they paid out a record amount of money this year for the Western cape. On the BDO side, we have Eddie Schuler from KwaZulu Natal area. Eddie is an old hand at financing and he's got an extremely good relationship with his customers in the KwaZulu Natal area.
I'm Eddie Schuler. I'm the John Deere Financial BDO looking after the Midlands area of KwaZulu Natal. I had the honour of being appointed the John Deere Financial BDO for the year. This award really means a lot to me. After all the years of being involved in John Deere Financial. I'm looking forward to this coming year to build on the success that I've had over the past couple of years.
It is absolute pleasure for me to have handed over the awards to them and I really want to talk to the people that's not here and I want to inspire them, learn from what Eddie and Melinda are doing and use them as a motivation for you just to be here next year as well.
