I think one thing that strikes me after this week. Spending time with the Deere family. Different divisions, factories, people. It's incredible family feel and it's aesthetic. It's very unique.
Soms is a lot of people think we are a company that just designs machines and designs technology. We forget that this is a big family. John Deere is part of a big community. We've heard a lot of discussions this week where we talk about the ecosystem. A lot of times the corporate part of it is also part of the ecosystem. And how John Deere goes out of their way to make sure that people feel welcome. And people feel included within the organisation.
I think what testimony to the company again. There's two things that just jumped out. I think the one thing is a lot of these guys who spend time with they've got their own farms. So again you've got people that these gentlemen farmers on weekend and they bring that. Literally that practical experience back into their job.
And I mean that's a very important aspect of people living their dream on the weekends as well. But also corporate farming or in the sense of corporate farming. Saying that people enjoy their time outside of corporate life on the farm. And just living the products and enjoying the products that they design every single day in the product they work with. Getting the opportunity to experience them in the field as well on a personal basis.
That what they say proof is in the pudding right. So literally get your hands dirty in the process. I think what also jumped out. I mean exciting part of the week was technology the future of it. But again the one thing that struck me was when I asked a question. What leads the process? The farmer or tech. And every time they came back we'll start with the farmer.
Exactly. So I think the most important part is we heavily rely on customer feedback. Every single thing we do is based on what customers want. And it all comes back to value for the customer, value for our dealers and value for dear. But without the customer none of us would be here. So that's probably the most important aspect of this organization is making sure the customer's needs are fulfilled.
I think coming back to the whole family field. I mean it's you guys look like a big family. The team is very welcoming. I mean it's always exciting speaking to colleagues in other countries. But yeah it's like you've been here.
And been working here for the last year almost. It's great. I mean talking to the people all around our facilities. And I mean from the security team in the front office to the janitors to the factory workers up until the corporate staff and the officers. Everyone makes you feel welcome. And everyone makes you feel included. Making sure that you play a critical role in the development of delivering a great product to the customers the end of the day. I think most importantly is that once you do enter a John Deere facility no matter where you are on the wall. People can immediately recognize the fact that I'm a John Deere and these people make me feel welcome. And I think that's a pretty important aspect when you work for Deere is making sure that I do contribute. And I add value to the company and that gives you that work -life balance. Making sure that you know exactly which way in which direction you're heading towards.
And I think in summary the fact that the world loves the brand so much. Not just farmers or John Deere employees is an absolute taste to many. And summarizes this feel and an impression we got this few weeks.
I mean I think that's probably one of the biggest things that contribute to people loving the brand as much. Apart from being a global brand and being a leader in what they do in the industry. But the fact that they make everyone feel welcome. And you don't only feel like a number. Everyone feels valued within the organization as well as within the industry. Now, fantastic.
I'm sure that all the good things will come to an end. You know at the end of the day that it's a business.
I'm a Fortune 500.
Sorry man, you know, a little bit of the goal. You know what, you see you must see in a heart van die zaken. I feel that this was so tastbaar geweest van die begin tot nuit.
Ja, and I think what is important and what is out of the week is that you can see on the way. It's going to be more than just a tracker or a trade market. It's going to be where our clients are interested in the brand. In our own land, in the industry.
