James Wabala, Credit Alliance Manager for East Africa, explains how John Deere Finance works with banks and companies across Africa to offer tailored financing for farmers. The service aims to reduce costs through subsidies and make equipment more accessible in Kenya and the region.

Jambo everyone, my name is James Wabala, I'm the Credit Alliance Manager for East Africa and also I hold responsibility for global trade finance for Africa. So at John Deere Finance we offer tailor made solution and our key objective is to facilitate access to finance and also mitigate against the cost of finance by providing subsidy. So currently in Kenya we are working with the Equity Bank, we are working with the Hello Tractor and Apsa and also our traditional partner Standard Bank or Stambic Bank across Africa.
