John Deere Africa Middle East | John Deere ADT Accelerate | Hydraulic Routing

We're really going after what I'm going to call intelligent design. So making sure we're putting the components in the right places to make it easier to route the hydraulic lines and the electrical connections between those components. So, on this truck, you know, the 460, the 410, both of those machines, we were able to take about 10% of the overall hose length out of that machine. So if you were to take every hose and stitch them together end to end, the hoses that would go into these new next gen trucks are going to be about 10% shorter, which means there's less likelihood of rubs or hose chafing where they may be vibrating together. And we've also reduced the number of connections. So when you think about the possibilities for leaks being drastically reduced because of that reduction of leak points or connections, and then also by eliminating some of that hose material.
