Good day. I'm Jakuba, Managing Director for John Deere Africa Middle East. Me and my team are spending the next two days here at the Young Farmer Indaba in association with food form Zansi. And it's been a privilege to share our journey and our vision with the new era farmers and young farmers of South Africa.
Good morning guys. My name is Zabi Ndevir, new Business development Manager for John Deere Africa and Middle East. Welcome to Food from Zanzi's young farmers in Daba where we over two days have more than 600 farmers, young farmers of South Africa coming to experience what we offer them. The technology that we have, the type of tractors that is there for them and also introducing them to our SMART model where we are getting new yera farmers into the John Deere brand and making them understand what we offer them. SMART is actually just an acronym that stands for solutions for farmers. Mechanization, access to finance, reliability and training and technology.
For us. And I think a further in the cap of food from Zanzi. Amazing young talent. Great, great discussions and look forward to see how we can support these farmers for the future and how we can grow the new era farmers also into a commercial segment of South Africa.
