Peter Pinar, tactical marketing planner for John Deere Africa Middle East, walks through the 5080E tractor. The machine offers improved fuel economy, higher PTO power, increased lift capacity, and LED lighting designed for high-value crop farmers.

Foreign. I'm Peter Pinar, Tactical marketing planner for Small AG in the Africa and Middle east region and right next to me we've got a brand new 5080E that's new to some African markets and will be later launched this year into the South African market. What makes this tractor so unique is it's fitted with the Trustworthy, very reliable 2.9 litre 3 cylinder engine. We also have a great fuel economy especially when using PTOs. The PTO actually runs at just over 2000 engine RPM for the 540 and in 540 economic it just runs over 1500 engine RPM. You can spec this tractor with three SUVs and one of them can then also be constant flow. It's got an increased lift capacity of 2,350 kgs at ball end. And what makes this tractor so unique also is that you can spec it with LED lights. This makes it unique for a HVC farmer or high value crop farmer that does sprays at night and now got better visibility.
