Goedag. Ik ben Freedy Rupping Productionssysteem speciaalist op Tractor Products van John Deere Afrika. Today I want to launch the new 6B series of tractors for Sub -Saharan Africa. The 6B series of tractors is available in two configurations, namely an open operator station package and then also in a cab configuration. Let me first start off with the open operator stations. The open operator station series is available from the 6095B model up to the 6135B tractor. The power range is 70 kilowatts for the 6095 up to 99 kilowatts for the 6135B tractor. So let me explain the differences between the open station configurations. We have a basic or a standard model open operator station and then we also have a deluxe package on the operator stations. On the standard operator station we have a dry clutch system with a 12x4 transmission which is fully synchronised. We also have two ACVs with a 50 litre per minute package for hydraulic flow and hydraulic lift capacity of 2500 kilograms for the 95 and then 3300 kilograms for the 99 kilowatt models. Looking at the deluxe package we have the same engine technology in the tractor. The tractor is equipped with a 2412 wet clutch transmission with power reverser and a high low function. So what this is excellent for is for achieving the best possible gear range for your application in the field which makes this transmission excellent for transport and planting. Also this tractor incorporates three ACVs with 60 litres per minute of capacity and it's as four work lights when you stretch your work hours into the late hours of the night. Now I want to move over to the cab tractors. The cab series tractors are also available in four models from a 6095B up to a 6135B. All these tractors have the same engines, the four cylinder power tech engine. On the 6095B the fuel injection pump is a mechanical type and on the 110, 120 and 135 models they have a common rail fuel injection system. The deluxe package comes standard with three ACVs with 60 litres per minute which makes this tractor excellent for more demanding applications. So if you want and require a tractor there is a multi -tool which you can use in beef and dairy, grains production and haulage the 6B tractor is an excellent option on your farm. Also on the 6B open station and cab series tractors on the deluxe packages we have the luxury of the steering column that is fully adjustable and with the tilting feature and on the steering column we also have the forward and reverser and your indicator system which give you more of a better driving experience. On the 6B series tractors the control console have been ergonomically designed with comfort in mind. All your controls are in easy reach on the right hand control console that means your speed, your ACVs, your PTO functions are all easy reach on the right hand console which gives you a much better experience and makes the operator much more effective performing these operations.
