John Deere's AutoTrac Vision uses a front-mounted camera to automatically steer tractors by detecting crop rows, eliminating the need for pre-established guidance lines in the field.
What if you could benefit from automated steering even in fields that have been planted without a guidance system? With autotrack vision you can. Auto track vision uses a front mounted camera to see early season corn or grain. It can see and detect early season row crops as soon as the advanced camera can differentiate between the crop row and the soil in between. It keeps vehicle wheels in the centre between rows and reduces crop damage in fields that have been planted without an automated guidance system or which have inaccuracies due to implement drift while planting with a guidance system or where guidance lines are not available. It even works at night. Autotrac vision lets you work fast, faster with less crop damage at working speeds of up to 30 km per hour. As an industry unique feature, the system auto generates an ab line in the background. If the camera is unable to detect rows, the system immediately falls back to the automatically created ab line. Autotrac vision works if the crops are at least 10cm high, but also works in higher crop conditions. It even works with a slurry tanker in early season corn as soon as the plants are at least 20cm high. Benefit from guidance without guidance lines get ahead with autotrack.
