This is a YouTube video titled "John Deere Genuine Lubricants - A critical part in your machine’s ecosystem" containing a discussion between two speakers about the importance of using John Deere lubricants and coolants in tractors to maintain engine reliability and longevity. The speakers explain how the correct oils and coolants protect engine components and prevent damage.
Customers should consider the oil as a part of their tractor. It's a real critical component. It keeps it running. It's like the blood in your veins is what keeps everything reliable and going.
John Deere lubricants are the best lubricants to use in John Deere equipment because they're specifically designed to be in those machines. And therefore you can have some confidence that they're going to last the life of the machine.
You pull apart an engine that's been running the 50 oil as opposed to one that hasn't been. You can see the carbon deposits and stuff the 50 oil. The engine still looks brand new inside, whereas the other brands of oil got this brown tarnish on the pistons and a lot of the components inside the engine. John Deere don't just make the oils, they also do the coolant antifreeze for the engines that comes pre mixed so it's all ready just to tip into the engine. It makes a huge difference to the internal of the engine using the cool guard. So what we've got here is an example of what's happened to an engine when the correct coolant hasn't been used in it. You get air bubbles and those little air bubbles come up against this hot surface here and they actually explode. And that's what eats away the surface here. Looking at the cylinders, like if you look at one that hasn't had water in it, feel like they're brand new. This oil's been doing its job. That's why we recommend using the correct cooler.
