John Deere | Harvest Customer Experience

John Deere representatives and customers discuss the 2025 Harvest Customer Experience event, showcasing new machinery, integrated technology, and automation features designed to boost productivity during harvest season.
The 2025 Harvest Customer Experience is a really great opportunity for customers to come and experience our John Deere harvest solution. And this is an opportunity for them to see not just the hard iron, but the technology that can really enhance their productivity and efficiency in field.
This season we're very privileged to have boot camp here in Griffith. I enjoy days like this because it's a good way to learn about product but also get the opportunity to talk to customers from all around our trade area and hear from them what we're doing well in the business and what we can do better.
So we run an X9 1100 at work and it was really good to compare the differences between the 790 and X9.
A lot of technology more fancier stuff in it than the older models.
Yeah, the auto 10 learned a little bit about that.
Some of the automation seems like the newer versions of that are going to be a bit easier to get comfy with.
Oh it just makes it easier so you can put like less qualified, I guess people in a header.
We use it to help just the unloading process, keeping that productivity up. Like you don't have to sew a header down for a chaser bin driver.
Yeah. So we've, we've run a couple of different customer experience events. We've had seeding and spraying. We've also now onto our harvest experience. And for harvest we're really dug into three key focus areas. We've obviously got the product session behind us so we focus in on X9S7 and the hinged Draper. But we also then have a complete dedicated session to the new integrated technology from John Deere Harvest automation. So the predictive ground speed, cameras, settings automation, all these advanced features to really get the improvement to that hard iron through technology. And then we have a final session around the customer experience at harvest time and that's really around how we can utilise some of the digital tools. We have to really make sure harvest runs smoother for a farmer. So using operation centre, mobile equipment, mobile and some of our connected support tools to really make sure customers have the best harvest. So we want to make sure the machine's running well, the technology's working well and they can remotely monitor it anytime, anywhere.
There's been a few things I've learnt today that excited to get back and try from the updates for the machine sink, we've been trying that for a couple of years to try and help with our control traffic system that we use within Lawsons, I guess to seeing where each sensors are in the machine. How that connects through into the cabin was kind of helpful.
I got a lot out of it. Just new technology, the headers, cameras, and everything like that. So it's good to see what Johnny are bringing out and definitely leading the market, I think, going forward. And it's really good.
I love these days. It's a great way for us, as John Deere, to really get closer to the customers. We want to share what we've got today, but also learn for the future. And that's what's so exciting. I just love spending time with customers and dealers and seeing what makes them tick and see how we can get better.
As John Deere, you learn so much, you find out so much what they're trying to do, how they're trying to do it, and we can actually then see how John Deere can actually help them achieve those outcomes.
Sam.
