John Deere Operations Center - How to add Non-connected Equipment

Learn how to add non-connected equipment like implements and other machinery brands to John Deere Operations Center. The tutorial walks through adding equipment profiles and adjusting settings to track monitoring and maintenance in one place.
In this video we are going to show you how to add non connected equipment into your John Deere Operations Centre organisation. Having equipment set up correctly in the operation center unlocks a number of opportunities to improve your efficiency such as equipment monitoring and maintenance tracking. You can have two types of connected equipment such as your John Deere tractors and combines and non connected equipment such as implements and other brands of machinery. Your connected equipment should automatically be in your account, so you'll just need to add the non connected equipment you would like to see. To add a new non connected machine or implement you need to start by clicking the Tractor icon on the left hand side of the main map page. This is the Equipment panel which allows you to create, view and manage all your equipment in one place. Any connected and already manually added equipment will already be visible in this list. To add new equipment, click on the plus sign at the top of the Equipment panel. Fill in the machine pin number if you have one followed by the name. You can then search for the brand. If the brand is not in the predefined list you can select other. After that select whether it is a machine or implement and the specific model that you are adding. If the right model is not available in the drop down list, you can add it manually. Finally, you can select what colors you would like for the equipment's icon. Once created with all the required information provided, you can click Add and your machine will now be available in the Equipment panel. Once created, you will be given the opportunity to review the details you have just added such as the name, model, pin number and offsets. If you would like to change any of these, you can click on the Modify Offsets link at the bottom. Equipment profiles are included in setup files that you send to your displays, so entering in the correct offsets in Operations center can save time measuring and inputting data when you are in the field later. Otherwise, click OK to confirm the equipment details. You can now search for your newly added piece of equipment in the Equipment panel. Clicking on it presents you with more information such as offsets and machine settings which you can review and edit at any time. Thanks for watching and be sure to check out our other how to videos.
