John Deere Operations Center™ - View, Analyse & Share your Cotton Data

Tutorial on using John Deere Operations Center to view, analyze, and share cotton yield and module data. The platform lets growers and gin operators track performance, export results, and share information across their operation.
Yield and module data is critical information for both the grower and cotton gin, and in this video I'm going to show how to view and export your yield and module data in John Deere Operations Centre. From the Operations center map page, navigate to the Analyze drop down and select Analyze. When viewing cotton harvest data, there are two views available. Use the view Drop down to select between Harvest for your field averages or Harvest ID for module or BALE information. You can use the tabs on the top left to change the view of the summary to fields, varieties, equipment or modules, and the filter buttons on the top right allow you to filter to the specific data you want to visualize. The filters you select will update the data that is displayed in Analyze and also applies to any data that is exported. You can remove a filter by clicking the relevant x. In this example we're going to export cotton module data. To do this, use the Share Export button in the top right and choose between the PDF option which will download a PDF summary of exactly what's showing in the Analyze table, or the Excel option which will download the details of every module within the filter you have selected into an Excel file to your desktop. To easily view your yield data spatially, use the map icon within the Analyze table to view the field immediately. Alternatively, you can navigate to Field Analyzer under the Analyze tab and search for the field you want to look at. Clicking on individual modules in Field Analyzer will show you the associated data, and you can use the Show HID Cotton checkbox to remove the modules from the view. You can change the layer you're viewing using the drop down in the top left. There are many agronomic and machine data layers available to select from, but in this scenario we'll select Yield in bales per hectare. The field information now changes to Align with the layer you have selected. You can do more in depth analysis of the field by experimenting with comparing and overlaying other layers that your machinery has recorded or that have been contributed to the operations center, such as a prescription map. A visual summary of the data layer that you are currently viewing can be exported in PDF format using the Share Export button in the top right. You can also share the raw yield data directly to a partnered organisation by clicking the Share Work Data tab and selecting the organisation you want to share with from the drop down. Be aware that module data won't be shared using this method. To share both Yield and module data at once, navigate to the more drop down and select files. Use the filters on the left to identify the documentation files that you want to share. Select the files using the checkboxes and then click the Assign button. Choose the partner that you'd like to share the data with and click Assign. Assigning Data pushes the data directly into your partner's operations center account, where they will be able to visualise it as I have shown in this video. For more information on how to set up partnerships for sharing data, please see our Setting Up Partnerships How To Video. You also have the option to download the data directly to your computer, where it can then be shared with another account manually. Thanks for watching.
