Desert Mountain Golf Club uses John Deere's Operations Centre to track equipment, manage staff schedules, and monitor maintenance remotely. The platform lets the agronomy team see what's happening on the course in real time without being there.
We have about 20, 50 members right now at the club. In our agronomy department, we run around about 195 to 200 employees. So I have seven superintendents underneath me, and then they have three assistants, plus our equipment technicians, and then all of our hourly teammates as well. So very happy family. That's a lot of equipment. John Deere is a huge partner of ours. We're so happy to have them. The connectivity portion of it allows me to really manage things and understand exactly what's going on on the properties, each and every one, even if I'm not there. The interface is easy. I can be here checking on other mowers at another golf course and be watching on my map.
You know, you change your mind on an afternoon job or a morning job, you can do it remotely, and it links to the board back in the shop. We use it for tracking employee hours, you know, scheduling, scheduling them throughout the day, changing jobs on the fly.
With the.
New John Deere ops center, I can follow my spray technicians, I can track my mowing hours, you know, and all that is a flick of a switch. We can have that information laid out in front of us.
I always kind of feel like I have at least a pulse of what's going on by utilizing the platform.
