John Deere S700 & X9 Combines - How to Optimise your Combine

To optimize your combine to your conditions, select the Combine Advisor button on the bottom ribbon. Earlier models may show Interactive Combine Adjustment or ica. The layout in these models may look slightly different depending on the model year of your machine, but the concepts shown are the same.

Select Optimize Performance and adjust the areas of the machine that are not performing optimally to describe your current issues. The combine will observe current conditions and settings to recommend a solution. Most solutions can be applied directly within the Optimize Performance tool. Select Apply and continue harvesting for a few minutes before checking your combine's performance, grain, sample and losses. Again, continue to use the Optimize Performance tool until you are happy with the performance of the combine. If you have the Combine Advisor package, you can use the Live Camera button to get a quick view of the sample and tailings and without getting out of the cab. Use the View Grain Analysis toggle to highlight different aspects of the sample such as unthreshed or broken grain and foreign material. You've now optimised your combine for your current conditions.
