Hello, we are here with the John Deere Combine YouTube channel now in wonderful Scotland. 20 degrees outside and we have here a T670 on trex with a 9 meter header, a 630X. Let me introduce a farmer here. Who are you?
My name is Graham Meikle, we're farming here at Hopbrick in East Lothian, Scotland. We're cutting winter rape today. It is about 10% moisture. Expecting the yield to be around about 2 ton an acre.
What's your first impression?
Yeah, well, I mean we've done once round a 20 acre field seems to swallow the crop very easily. The knife coming out on the header makes a tremendous job. Seems good in fuel, nice sample, good machine to drive. Very impressed.
Hello combine fans, we are here in Scotland with the John Deere YouTube channel. And we are here. Here is Kate, our T670i. So we have the farmer here who has just had a test run of a couple of hectares. The T670i is a very impressive combine. The header is unbelievable. The way the side knifes click on you can probably do that in two minutes. And also the way the header extends out is very impressive. The combine is excellent, nice and quiet, very, very easy to operate and yeah, it was good. Okay then. We wish you a good harvest and thank you very much. Thank you.
Hello John Deere YouTube channel. My name's Will, I work for the local dealer here, Thomas Sheriff and company. What would you say the feature you like best about the new T670?
The combine has loads of power and great visibility in the cab and a very quiet cab, comfortable to sit in, very smooth feed, even feed into the header. It's definitely got a lot loads more power and more capacity to handle bigger heavier crops. SA.
Hello John Deere YouTube channel. My name's Will and here we're with Gary and Gary's going to tell us a view about himself and the farming that he does here. We farm about four and a half thousand acres. We're running two combines at the moment but John Deere have brought on this new header with a quick OI attachments for doing oilcdrape and it's so quick from change from crop to crop. It's good and it only takes about five minutes to do that. We run John Deere tractors here at the moment. It's very familiar when you get into it. You just think you're in your tractor. All the buttons are pretty similar, the screens, etc, they're very good as well. You can move between screens from tractor into the combine. It's not like getting used to different products. You know what I mean? So that all works well, too. Thanks very much. Thank you very much. Thank you.
